Absolutely beautiful! Sound is gorgeous, very pleasing to the ear. Stringed instruments take a couple weeks to settle in when tuned, because the strings stretch out and bounce back. The tuning and retuning process has been very even across all the strings, which is a great sign that the harp will hold its tune after this initial process. I thought a few of the levers were going to be problematic with their placement, but now that I’ve got it tuned, it’s no longer an issue (which just makes sense, really). So if you’re new to the harp, just hang in there. I agonized over this purchase for months, so hopefully this review will help the next person. Totally worth it!

I took interest in learning the Harp. This is my first one to practice on. Of course, it has to be tuned. But it’s gorgeous and perfect for floor exercises and to sit it on a nice flat stool to practice on. You’ll be comfortable to stand with it on a stool. Perfect beginners Harp. The boxing was lovely and thick so no broken problems or scratches. It’s heavier than expected. But easy to carry. So the wood is real and durable. Longevity with this Harp. It’s 35’ tall. Good for an Adult to practice. Not to small.

I am truly blessed! McKayla @ Lyon & Healy West SLC UT, helped me order the perfect harp for my grand daughter. And fed-ex delivered it on time. THANK YOU. Safe journeys to one and all.

Β I use this for sound baths. I’ve had it for a few months now and can finally play my first tune on it, glissandos, and some intuitive playing. Even online my clients say that it sounds nice. It’s easy to play and relatively lightweight. I move it easily to the yard and up and down the stairs. Some of the strings have an odd resonance from time to time but I adjust the levers and just tune it from there. Tuning gets easier with more practice. I’m pretty happy with her.

4 stars out of 5 ONLY because it’s a little clunky for a lap harp. If half stars were an option I would have given 4.5.
This is a visually appealing harp, and here within my first few weeks with it, it seems nicely sturdy. This is my first harp with levers, as I didn’t want to dive in head first with a very expensive harp if I wasn’t going to be able to get proficient in the long run. I have been able to get a good feel for the instrument and now know I’m willing to invest in a higher quality harp.
Tuning has been uneventful. It did take about 10 days of tuning multiple times daily, and now it holds its tune so I only need to tune when I play. No strings have broken.
22 strings with levers on all has been a very versatile learning range as an adult complete beginner. No strings have any buzzing, nor sound twangy or plinky. The resonance and carry is nice. Buying replacement strings is as simple as googling β€œRoosebeck harp strings” and the strings are sold in sets. At the time of this review, a full set of 22 strings is about $35.
It’s a little awkward to hold as a lap harp because I’m short (5’2”) but nothing a harp lap stick can’t handle.
For the most part I have kept this harp tuned to C major to play in C major and G major. It’s also very doable on this harp to tune to Eb major. For tuning I use a Snark SN8 and it clips right on to the neck. I found this to be far more accurate than either of the tuning apps I have on my phone.
When I do graduate to a more intermediate harp, I will still use this for smaller practice, and the ornamentation is so nice it can serve as a cute piece of decor as well.
