It’s not bad considering the price. Assembly was straight-forward. Cymbals feel nice. Drum pads are petite but also feel nice. My only gripe really is that the hi-hat pedal sensitivity is pretty awful. The kids love playing on it when I’m not using it.

I purchased this kit cuz I was ready to upgrade from my trashy kit to a more reliable instrument. Well, I think I chose the right one. This kit has everything you need. I was able to custom program a kit using various cymbal/drum sounds on kit 31. As a drummer progressing into metal, the ability to program a crash/ride into a china is big plus on this kit. The sound on this setup is clear and just sounds amazing. The drums and cymbals are very responsive and trigger well. I also purchased a double kick pedal and it works great on this kit. Definitely double kick friendly. So many other features I haven’t tried yet but look forward to doing so. I’ve spent hours on this kit since I’ve received it and I absolutely love it and highly recommend, whether you’re a beginner or professional. The only complaint I have is the headphones that are included with the kit sound horrible. Not clear sound at all. That aside, this kit is overall amazing and I recommend it, especially for the price.

I am updating based on the usage for the past 3 months. I bought this as a Xmas gift for my husband. The first kit was used and had missing parts. It was an embarrassing disappointment. However, this is where the review changes. Due to my last review Donner reached out to us not only did they sent us a new kit immediately, they also refunded part of what I paid in hopes that they changed my mind. I was impressed with their service but I wasn’t going to change my review until my husband had used the kit for a while to give it a proper review. In the mean time Donner reached out again and sent us an Amp. I was already impressed and happy with their service. The Amp wasn’t necessary but appreciated.
As far as customer service, we can say that Donner goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. So 5 stars
As far as the set goes, my husband is 6 ft tall and strong so he kinda looks like a giant, the set is tiny. He looks like a praying mantis drumming but he likes the set and he is satisfied with it. I love to hear him drumming . I’m not gonna say that this is the best drumming kit, I’m sure that there are better ones but this is a good starting kit and we are appreciative to Donner for their excellent support.

It was Christmas present for my husband and it was used and its missing several component including cables, high hat pedal, stand for stool and there are stains on the drum heads, missing wires. It seems and looks used and returned. How embarrassing and disappointing. I feel horrible.

This is an extremely high quality Drum Set which enables a music-obsessed teenager to learn in great detail how to play the drums excellently well. Because the whole kit is electronically connected, the sounds are heard through the player headphones and there is minimal noise (only quiet taps) heard by others nearby. It is relatively easy to assemble but takes a while due to the large number of connected parts,
I am delighted with the superb quality of this instrument and my drum-playing grandson is very happy and completely satisfied with the ease of use of this drum kit, which is bothy great value for money and.contains a very solid beautiful metal set of footpads. The electronics connections are superb.

Es handelt sich hierbei um ein Geschenk für meine Tochter. Im Vorfeld habe ich mich also mit unterschiedlichen Tests befasst. Und dieses Set war Preis/Leistungs-Sieger für Einsteiger. Für mich als Leihe lässt es sich gut spielen und der Klang sowie die Einstellungsmöglichkeiten, sind mehr als ausreichend.
Aufbau und Anschluss sind verständlich, nur das Kabel für die Highhat und das Pedal hatte ich verstauscht.
Der Hocker ist ebenfalls ausreichend, lediglich die Kopfh̦rer sind billig gearbeitet Рaber es ist ein Einsteiger Set und man kann direkt loslegen.
Bei den Prime Days nochmal gespart, das höhere Modell bestellt und trotzdem noch 20€ gespart.
Am Liefertag erhielt eine Mail mit einem einmaligem Passwort und ca 5 Minuten vor Ankunft einen Anruf.
Fazit:

This drum set was a Christmas gift for our 7 y.o. son. He had been taking lessons for about 6 months using pans and pot lids to practice. We decided to save and splurge on this set when he started practicing on his own and asked us repeatedly to play his favorite song to drum with.
The set up took my husband about 3 hours. Longer than expected but it was also late on Xmas Eve and we were both exhausted. It’s pretty sturdy yet compact. You are able to expand and contract the legs of the drum set to fit your space. All drums and cymbals can be adjusted according to height. My kid also loves playing around with the various sounds. He spent about 2 hours cycling through them to find his favorites. We have yet to link to a phone or MP3 to play along with but will be doing that soon.
A few areas of improvement are (1) headphones broke within first 4 days of use – one side had no sound so removed one star. (2) The bass drum needs a rubber pad or rug underneath it or it will scratch up your floors. (3) There seems like a missed opportunity to add a small music stand to the back bar. Right now we have a painting easel holding up music behind the set.
Overall great set and great price with just some minor issues. My kid can also practice drums without disturbing everyone in the house.
