This mouthpiece appears to be very well-made in every aspect except for the plating around the rim is already wearing thin after a few weeks playing. I loved the sound, but I am not sure I will continue playing it. I am a little worried about the potential harm of an unknown metal making contact with the lips everyday.
Too bad; otherwise a great deal. It fits great in my Bach Strad 43 trumpet. Darkened and deepened my sound. I found my lower range was much more full and rich sounding. Higher notes are a little more difficult, but get a better, overall sound than my previous, Bach 3C. I also just bought a Blessing 3C and it is tight and stuffy sounding compared to this.

I’m a euphonium player normally but have been playing trumpet in a local pep band this winter. Mainly out of necessity. I normally play a 51d bass trombone mouthpiece on my euphonium and a 51d tenor trombone mouthpiece on my baritones. It was hard finding a trumpet mouthpiece that would not cause me discomfort while playing. The mouthpiece arrived yesterday and I played pep band music for both games of a double header and still felt like I could have played longer! Good purchase that did not break the bank! Produces great sound!

I’ve been using a 7C for 6 years because I never thought to change mouthpieces. My friend told me to try out a 3C for a change and move on from the beginner mouthpiece. I never thought to change because my tone and technicality on the 7C was pretty good so I had no need to switch. But let me tell you, after trying this mouthpiece I wish I had switched sooner. I looked up “3C mouthpiece” and this is one of the first ones that popped up. Having a relatively cheap price, I thought I might as well order it and give it a try. Instantly I noticed a smoother tone and found it easier to switch between notes. I also found it increased my “comfortable range” by 2 steps. I’m not sure if all 3Cs are like this and I was just missing out, or if this mouthpiece alone is just really good. Whatever the case may be, I can definitely attest to this being a great investment.

I was skeptical at first. But honestly a great tone and solid product. Tried a blind test with some friends and they could definitely hear the difference (in a good way)

Musicians are comparing this mouthpiece to the Bach 3MV. For me, the Bach performs better. I have a thick or fuller lip and the Bach is more comfortable for me. If you have a thinner lip you can definitely be ahead of the game price wise with the Paititi mouthpiece. It looks great on the horn. If you are an accomplished musician the high register is a breeze.

I used this mouthpiece for an HBCU-esque performance on mellophone and it was spectacular. It worked really well for me. A great alternative for a BACH mouthpiece that runs you $120 when this mouthpiece is able to do basically the same for an awesome price. Obviously you’ll be upgrading eventually but since this is the start of my journey using this for a mellophone, I’ll be sticking with it for a hot minute.

I bought a few of the 1C mouthpieces in Gold and silver and Megatone Really lives up to its name the Gold ones have a slightly mellow and dark tone but for me it’s a rare opportunity to expand my playing range and higher registers are easier to achieve. And the price can’t be beat if you are a beginner or intermediate player looking to advance I recommend this mouthpiece I’m glad I added these to my mouthpiece collection and those of you who own less expensive horns this will definitely improve your sound overall your mileage may vary but whichever type works best for you whether it’s 3C 5c 7c or 1c Give it a try. I think you will enjoy the sounds you make with your trumpets. I know I do with mine.

I know what you’re thinking. Surely this can’t be a good mouthpiece. After all, the Bach equivalent is around $130.00. Well, let me tell you these mouthpieces are incredible! I bought two of them out of sheer curiosity. I played a Bach megatone for all my legit playing throughout college. As someone who has a music degree, as well as taught a trumpet applied studio in grad school, let me tell you, these things are the real deal. I have this mouthpiece for about 2 days now, and I might be driving my wife crazy because I can’t put my Bb down. I actually think these play better than the Bach. Very free blowing, and the sound quality is incredibly smooth. For $27 bucks, you could have to replace it every 3-4 years, and it would take you 12-16 years to equal the cost of one megatone.
I’m sold. I’m playing this mouthpiece on a gig next weekend.
