Bought a different brand of protector only to find it didn’t work properly with the new Pixel 9 pro ultrasonic sensor for fingerprint. Ordered this one BECAUSE they stated it in the product name and it worked perfectly the very first time. Installation with dead simple and impossible to mess up with the phone frame included for alignment. Yes, I verified it wasn’t accidently using face recognition!

Unfortunately, the guide for the Pixel 9 Pro screen protector is too big, which makes it absolutely useless. Without the guide, I slightly misaligned the top cutout.
I also noticed it made the fingerprint reader less sensitive. Sure, it works after you rescan your fingerprints, but not as well.
I had two bubbles which were easily removed with pressure from my finger. Outside of the complaints mentioned above, installation was smooth.
I’ll modify my review if I need to add information on post drop functionality. Let’s hope not.

I did not use the case included for installation, just some good lighting to spot the dust and to be able to see the front camera to line up.
I installed it right after unboxing the pixel 9 pro before even turning it on. Then I registered my finger print and the sensor works awesome way better than the 7 pro. Didn’t even need to turn on screen protector mode. Absolutely no problems there.
Easy installation, fast and no bubbles.. highly recommend installing it before setting up the phone.

Has plastic rails to help with application, but using it does not align it perfectly with selfie came. With the second one, I used the rails as a guide but manually lined the screen protector with the camera and stuck it on. I had to take the rail off to finish applying the protector, that’s how off their measurements were.
Despite that, the protector went on very quickly and with zero bubbles, it was honestly effortless despite the the railing mishap.
Final point, it does slow down fingerprint sensor. Yes, I have enabled screen protector mode on my Pixel 9 Pro and yes I have rescanned my fingerprints with the protector on. Despite that, there is still a clear delay in unlock that wasn’t there before. Will try another brand and report back.

Not recommended for Pixel 9 Pro.
1) It’s about 1mm too small so you get a prism effect around edges of screen.
2) It’s too thick so it interferes with the fingerprint sensor on the Pixel 9 – you will have to re-train your fingerprints and even then it doesn’t work every time like it would with the naked screen.
3) The “guide” is garbage. A better method is to line the screen protector up with it’s backing still attached and secure it at the top with painter’s tape like a hinge. Then flip it up (leaving the tape hinge still attached) and remove the backing plastic. Then carefully lower it on the hinge. Finally remove the painter’s tape. Throw away the useless “guide”.
4) There is no protector for the Pixel 9’s camera (minus two stars).

I have the world’s worst luck when it comes to putting on screen protectors. No matter what I do I always end up with bubbles under it they can’t be removed. These screen prints were so so so easy to install and not a single bubble underneath. Non-issue whatsoever with interference with the touch on the screen and seems to be pretty durable.

I ordered two two different brands of tempered glass from the Chinese e-commerce sites for my new pixel 9 Pro and none of them supported the fingerprint unlock. I was considering spigen or one of the expensive tempered glasses, but I read on Reddit that this is a budget friendly product that supports the fingerprint unlock and protext the screen. It was very easy to install and had no bubbles. I messed two of those up cuz it was my first time installing tempered glasses and usually my brother does it for me. And I got a free replacement from the company so now I have more than enough to last me a couple of years while I use this phone. I would highly recommend the product and the company
