Good watch for kids.

There’s so much junk out there when it comes to kids watches. Not this one. Garmin brand would never make that mistake. My granddaughter is so fussy and she lives this watch. Perfect features for children.

My 8yr old son loves it because it tracks sleep, chores, steps, activity, and you can redeem rewards from completed chores. I can see all his progress from an app on my phone. My only dislike is it is battery operated, not rechargeable. The battery lasts a year it says so we’ll see. I haven’t had to change the battery in this watch yet bc we just got it but I’m hesitant bc of bad experience with watch batteries in the past from other watches. I’m hopeful though.I’m watching closely for a sale on these again to get one for my daughter.

Like the product but it burnt my 9yr old’s wrist.

So disappointed in this tracker! We have had this less than 3 months and a few weeks ago we noticed it was stuck on the time. After turning it off and waiting a few minutes, I turned it back on and thought it was fine. This has happened so many times now, I lost count! When it stops on the clock- everything stops! No tracker, no sleep tracker, no watch…so what did I pay for?! I will also add- my kid has taken great care of this watch/tracker… so this is not due to mistreatment.
Before this problem- we loved this tracker! But with none of the features being dependable it’s useless.

This seems like a fitness watch to encourage kids to get exercise but I am not happy that it only allows for 60 minutes for children to play the game. It’s not fair that this minutes of activity can’t be changed by the parents because what if your child cannot for some reason reach that goal then they are blocked out of the game which is there for the reason of encouraging children to get activities into their lives to begin with. An update with that ability would be greatly appreciated. Other than that it seems good. I really like that it runs off of a watch battery instead of the ones that need to be charged. I think that more watches should do this. Thank you for your hard work and please give consideration to changing the 60 minutes to play the game. Thanks

My child had the Garmin 2 Jr and loved it. So we thought upgrading to the 3 would be amazing too. Unfortunately the little black electronic watch does not stay inside the band. It popped out multiple times within the first month during regular daily activity. Thankfully Garmin customer service took care of us and sent us a replacement.

I bought this for my 6 year old. I was hesitant because of all the reviews complaining about how dark the screen is. The screen is a bit dark but it has not been a problem for us. I think it keeps him from getting distracted by it and he can hold the button to make it bright if needed. We love all the features, from chore tracking and rewards to activity points to the game.

My 2nd grader asked for a watch for months but I was having a hard time deciding what to buy. One of her friend’s has this one and my daughter liked the way it looked, so I went for it. Yes, it’s a bit on the pricier side for an 8 year old, but this is the perfect first watch! Aside from telling time, my daughter’s favorite features are the step counter, the timer, and the ability to earn coins by doing chores that I can set up via the app. She has been wearing it almost 24/7 (including during swim practice and showers) for two months without any issues. Now she wants to change out the band and try other colors, which is a neat option. Highly recommend this watch!

Grandson loved it. And it’s waterproof

My daughter truly enjoyed this watch, the gamification makes it interesting for her to travel the world on the app (came with games, quizzes, etc. about the world) – the more she moved during the day, the more she was able to do in the app. There is also a chore/reward feature great for parents to instill good habits. So are preprogrammed, others can be drafted. Good battery life as well – over a year so far. There is also a competition mode if a parent has a Garmin watch as well.
