I like this monitor stand and it works perfectly to hold a 32″ monitor in my photo studio. It’s ruggedly built and secure and I don’t have any fear of it tipping over like another reviewer did who put a 55″ monitor on his stand. I do agree that using this for an expensive 55″ monitor might be a little overreach and I too would want something with a wider base for such a large monitor.
The first thing I did when assembling it was to install casters on it so I could wheel it around my studio and use it as a second monitor tethered to my computer during shoots. The images show on my computer and this monitor immediately after I shoot them.
It really is securely built with a nice beefy center column.

I got this to mount a 55″ TV that weighs about 40 lbs. Assembly wasn’t too bad, although the feet were a little fiddly. My TV has the 300mm spaced VESA mounting holes and the extension rails that came with this kit fit that just fine. It comes with a variety of machine screw sizes so you can screw into the VESA holes for your particular TV. I needed the long M6 screws and used the included spacers to get the length just right. (You want to have as much of the screw in the hole as possible without going too long.). The TV wobbles a bit in a twisting fashion if you push on it, but not in a way that would cause the stand to topple. Even so, I would prefer if the feet covered a larger area and/or the base had a little more weight. If you have a need to rotate your screen into portrait mode, that features worked, you just have to remove a screw in the back, rotate 90 degrees and re-insert the screw. Overall a good stand, especially if you need to get the display a few feet off the floor and/or need portrait mode.

I needed a heavy duty floor stand for a high-end Samsung Ultrawide curved monitor. The monitor only weighs maybe 70% of the 55lb rating of the stand, but it was immediately obvious upon assembly that this stand was just NOT up to the task. It’s far too prone to tipping over, and is absolutely not something you’d want to trust to hold up a $1000+ device.
The product listing (perhaps intentionally) does not include the dimensions of the base of the stand, so I had to trust the pictures in forming an estimate when ordering. Unfortunately, looking at the stand now and comparing to the product listing’s pictures, there’s obviously a stark difference between what the seller portrays, and the disappointing reality.
All of the photos from the seller (conference room, standard desk, yoga girl, etc) give the impression that this stand is at least 3 feet wide at the base, and minimum 20 inches from front to back.
Actual base dimensions: a mere 18″ wide and 16.5″ in length.
You’d have to be insane to think that is a sufficiently broad base to hold a bulky 55lb object with a center of gravity 4 feet up in the air…
So now I, as someone who got this for free (the value is still taxable income though), am returning it. All of this could have been avoided if the seller had portrayed the product honestly.
