I don’t know why in the world someone would take it upon themselves to try to undermine the confidence in negative reviews simply because they didn’t have a problem or they figured out the issue.

I have a dying ASUS motherboard, I am attempting to replace it with something from a different manufacturer since this board is not that old and shouldn’t be failing at this point. So the CPU and RAM is known working…in fact i’m using it with the dying motherboard this very instant to write this review…so the hardware causing issues is the motherboard.

The RGB backlighting turns on so I know the motherboard at least functions on a basic level and it lights up the CPU and DRAM lights indicating it’s having a problem. HOWEVER nothing I do can make that problem go away. I have literally stripped the system down to just RAM, GPU keyboard mouse and an NVME hard drive that is also the one i’m using currently. No boot. Put 1 stick in the 4th slot as recommended by the manual. nothing. tried it in each slot, nothing. Tried my other ram stick in each slot. nothing.

put both of those ram sticks and the processor back in the old dying motherboard and came here to start my return…completely ridiculous, I can’t believe I was basically talked into it by a review someone who PROBABLY works for ASrock wrote and I fell for it…Believe the people who say DOA. I certainly got one. I’ve been building PC’s for literal decades at this point. So if it’s not dead then it’s simply not worth messing with as whatever is preventing the boot is not a problem you will have with another motherboard as I have proven by putting the old computer back together.

Buy something better. This just wasted 3 hours of my life and i’m no closer to having a stable system. Not buying ASrock ever again. I’m furious, specifically because I almost passed on this to begin with, I really wish I had. Days wasted by the time I resolve this situation and get another board to replace mine.

The media could not be loaded.

The board itself is decently designed, has great cooling, especially for the main M.2 SSD. It works well with my Ryzen 5 5600, 2×16 of 5600mz RAM and a rx6750xt.

If you are on a budget and need a motherboard for a new AM5 computer, I give my blessings to this one.

Just remember to press the bios button on the back during first boot up lol.

This is a solid little AM5 Micro-ATX motherboard. It pretty much has everything you need and nothing you don’t. Plenty of USB ports, USB-C, 1Gbps LAN, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, HDMI, Display Port, 3x NVME slots (all bootable), 128GB memory, etc.

I downsized from a full-size ATX motherboard by simply swapping all components from the old mobo into this one. This mobo POSTed and booted right up without issue.

Pretty much all motherboards these days seem to ship with grossly out of date BIOSes, so you’ll definitely want to update the BIOS on first boot.

Aside from that, there’s nothing to complain about. My machine is on 24/7 and stability has been rock solid.

This mobo is fine, it works well. However I can’t give it 5 stars, because the RealTek LAN chip that comes with it has a well-known bug that restricts your wired ethernet speeds. If you google for issues with RealTek speeds, you will find a rabbit hole of problems dating back years. I tried every single solution out there, nothing worked. My wired internet was limited to 100mbs, off of a gigabit signal. I’m amazed this is still a thing in 2024. The solution is to buy a ethernet -> USB adapter, but I would just pass on this motherboard entirely at this point.

No complaints, runs just fine, the BIOS is really nice and easy to use too. Got my 5600 DDR5 running at 6000 with a few clicks of the mouse. Yep its about the most basic AM5 mobo you can get, but for my purposes (doing work in the browser and some light gaming like Factorio) its perfect, especially coming from a 10 year old mid-range PC from that time. Plus even the cheapest CPU I could put in it (7600 non-X) has incredible performance. I’m looking forward to having it as my daily driver! 🙂

Great motherboard at a very reasonable price. That said I’m 99.9% sure that the 1 star reviews/DOA reports ran into the same thing I did and spent a good 20 minutes banging my head against the wall over.

look very carefully at the RAM diagram

the FIRST read sticks MUST go in slots 2 and 4 (looking at the board right to left from the ports to the diagnostic lights, like how the board is oriented in the image on the product page). If you put them in slots 1 and 2, you’ll get the bad RAM/bad CPU diagnostic lights. Your FIRST sticks MUST go in slots 2 and 4.

After 4 months of back and forth and 3 failed motherboards from Newegg I order this off Amazon and it worked perfectly fine. Although the wireless Bluetooth adapter doesn’t appear to be working so I just disabled it(I dont need it). Overall the boards quality and price is worth it.
