Installed psu left it unplugged till end. Hooked up MOBO, cpu, gpu, and a couple Sata connectors. Flipped the switch on the back. Computer turned on… weird.
No post, fans on and lights on but won’t respond. Power button doesn’t work. Shut down. Put old psu in. Same issue. Fried my motherboard.

well built power supply…only downside is it has only two pcie cables..this being expensive psu i expected two more pcie cables…now i have to buy them again from corsair website

I never expected to have any issues with a Corsair product but it seems I was very wrong. As I was gaming, my entire system shuts off and won’t boot back up. I switched out the PSU with a different one and I STILL can’t get it to boot. I try the broken PSU in a different system for it to not working again. So because of this PSU bricking on me, it also caused my motherboard to fry. everything else in the system such as GPU, and ram are still fine.
Forgot to mention that the PSU has a weird smell.

Pues eso, es una muy buena fuente, me mueve el PC de sobra, pero venÃa con el cargador inglés (el de 3 puntas) y no ponÃa nada en la descripción, o yo no lo vi…
Menosmal que tengo muchÃsimos cables de esos y no lo necesitaba.

I am an american who lives in America, I ordered this PSU under the assumption i would be able to actually use it come to find out that it comes from Amazon UK i opened the psu box to admire it to find out that it has the UK plug to it, to make matters worse there is NO ADAPTER FOR AMERICAN OUTLETS in the box.
