Lian Li Hydroshift 360 AIO With ARGB Fans

This CPU cooler amazing!!! I use this AIO to cool an i7 14700k and I have to say it does a great job at it. I mostly game and while playing games like Apex Legends, Overwatch, Horizon Forbidden West, and Ghost of Tsushima I only see the temperature go to 71 degrees Celsius max. I don’t care much if the fans get loud while gaming since I have my headphones on. While casually browsing the internet tho it doesn’t make that much noise which is good. Installation is super easy especially if you already have multiple TL fans with a hub. AIO cables are almost non existent which is great since it doesn’t block my LCD fans. I love the way it looks plus the minimal RGB around the screen makes it look cleaner.

I just installed this in my new build. It fits great in the Phantek NV7 case. I had to undo the hoses from the brackets so that they would fit next to the hump on the NV7, but I think it looks awesome and I love how the hoses aren’t blocking the fans or RAM. It’s performing very well with the 7800x3d. I’m usually around 50C at idle, 60C-65C while gaming, and 70C-75C during cinebench runs. The only problem I have with this is that the pump is pretty loud at high rpms, but this is expected with most AIOs, especially because this pump reaches 3400rpm. I usually just keep the pump at its lowest setting (2000rpm) and at that speed it is pretty silent and still keeps the CPU cool. Also, for those who are wondering it is easy to take off the stock RGB fans and replace them with SL infinity fans.

This product looked good and easy install. But that’s the positive. After only 1 week… began noticing the CPU temp climbing really.l high… to the point where the computer would shut off. I didn’t suspect the cooler at first since it showed the pump RPM stat on the lcd display. So took my pc into the repair shop. The tech said the cooler is broken and need to be replaced. He also mentioned that he has heard the Hydroshift has a high rate of failure.

I bought and replaced with another cooler and returned this back to Amazon, since it’s only 1 week old.

The Hydroshift 360R black AIO cooler from Lian Li is a sleek and stylish CPU cooler. It comes with plastic shrouds and cable clamps that help guide the tubing along the non-visible side of the radiator before connecting to the pump block. The pump housing features a brushed metal-look design (though the visible cover is plastic) and includes a built-in display. The CPU block retention screw heads are hidden under a black trim piece that magnetically attaches to the pump, giving it a clean look. The radiator has a large brushed silver side-plate with a visible Lian Li logo, which looks fantastic if you don’t mind the branding. Lian Li has also neatly integrated the wiring from the pump housing to the fans into mesh tubing covers, reducing clutter. The fans are interconnected, eliminating extra wires. Installation requires a 4-pin PWM fan connector, a SATA power connector, and a USB 2.0 internal header. The radiator tubing orientation can be changed, but you’ll need to swap around several trim pieces to do so.

However, there are a few things to keep in mind with this AIO cooler. While it’s compatible with Intel’s newer LGA 1700 (and 1851) socket spacing, it’s not compatible with LGA 1200 and earlier sockets — something not mentioned in the listing but noted on Lian Li’s website. This means it’s compatible with Intel 12th-gen and above but it might not be suitable for older Intel systems. It supports AM4 and AM5 just fine using the special socket adapter brackets. The data connection requires a USB 2.0 header, and the 9/10 pin connector only uses 3 pins, which could be an issue if you don’t have a spare USB 2.0 header available. Additionally, the system relies on Lian Li’s software to control the AIO unlike other AIOs where you can unplug the data connection after setting parameters.

If you’re okay with the potential fan replacement limitations and have a spare USB 2.0 header, this AIO cooler is a fantastic-looking option for your build.

Lian Li – Evo mid tower, AMD 7900X, Lian Li TL Fans. Top mounted as per install guide, plugged in to mother board for CPU Fan header set to PWM. Found software is still inconsistent and buggy, get different pump speed readings from Motherboard header and lconnect. Cooling performance is average at best. Idle temps in the 50’s and was seeing temps of 80C+ while using power director or gaming (Diablo IV, Galactic CIiv 4). Using the same fans idle temps in the low 40’s and mid 70s on load while using the Lian Li GAII. Have since switched to Arctic Cooling 360 v3 with Lian Li TL fans and idle temps 34-35C and full load temps in the mid 60’s with a higher ambient room temp.

Love the look and concept – just wish performance (and software) would have matched the price tag
