I was looking to get an RGB keyboard to replace a very old keyboard. Ive been getting ridiculous with the RGBs, so I figured Id continue with this. I looked at both the black and the white keyboards, and the white keyboard colors look brighter reflecting off the white, and match my Fractal case. Cool! ICUE is just painful, but I was able to get some really great looking profiles for this.
PROS
-lights up like the Vega strip
-Volume and mute keys on the keyboard
-Keys to change brightness of keyboard
-The palm rest magnetic attachment is good
-clickey OPX keyboard
CONS
-Still a little more clatter from the keys than I want
-Keys are *very* sensitive. I accidentally hit keys just resting my hand sometimes. Adapting to it tho
-Key tops a little more raised than Im used to
Its a RGB keyboard, looks good, works fine, some nice features. If youre into RGB lighting, you’ll like this.

Didn’t work with my icue, submitted ticket with corsair, its been 15 days, still nothing from them. posted on reddit, they said they would look into it, still nothing, absolute junk

Corsair K70 PRO OPX
I recently purchased the this keyboard, and it’s been a solid choice so far. The build quality is impressive, and the OPX fast switches are responsive, making typing and gaming feel smooth. The dedicated multimedia keys are a nice touch, allowing easy control over music and volume without needing to leave what I’m doing.
The iCue software integrates well with the keyboard, offering detail customization options. I also appreciate the detachable cable, which is convenient if I decide to switch to a custom one later.
Overall, it’s a reliable keyboard that feels like it will hold up well over time.

Pros:
– Great build quality
– Sound dampening foam
– Great stabilizers (with a little lube)
– Adjustable, magnetic, hall effect switches
– Rapid trigger functionality
– Very nice palm rest
– Double shot PBT keycaps
Cons:
– 1 particular gripe with iCue (not even specific to this keyboard)
Thoughts:
As the title suggests, this is another really good, hall effect keyboard! After using a wooting 60HE, I really don’t like regular mechanical switches anymore. Pricing is in-line for full sized keyboards. Actually, a little better than the competition with the inclusion of dedicated media keys, and hall effect switches. The rapid trigger function feels so natural that I unintentionally hold keys longer on traditional switches. It just feels so good when you get used to it. Pair that with an adjustable actuation height, and you’ve got a tangible improvement over regular keyboards. The addition of case foam really helps with the acoustics. No pinging or hollow sounds when you bottom out a key. These stabilizers are also very good, once I applied some krytox lube to them. They were pretty rattly right out of the box, but a little injection on each stab muted them nicely. They also seem to have dampeners to soften bottoming out the modifier keys. I don’t really care about the 8k polling rate personally. I would bet money that no one can actually feel a difference between 1k and 8k in a blind test on any peripheral, but it’s there if you really care about that. The PBT keycaps are very good quality with good shine-through. I really like the palm rest that comes with the Corsair flagship keyboards. This thing feels really nice, and I wish they would include one with each of their other keyboards; magnetic attaching and all. The only thing that I would actually knock this for, and it’s not even an issue I have with the keyboard, is one particular exclusion from iCue. That exclusion is the ability to remap the FN key to something else. It’s not that big of a deal for a full sized keyboard (to me at least), but it would still be nice to remap it to something like Caps lock. Why we still can’t do that is beyond me, but this is just more of a personal issue I have. The keyboard itself does everything else that I want.
Conclusion:
If you like or are interested in hall effect keyboards, but don’t want to deal with wait times from Wooting, or want a slightly higher quality alternative to Steelseries’ offerings, this is a good option.

I recently upgraded to the Corsair K70 MAX mechanical keyboard, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance and design. The keyboard’s build quality is outstanding, featuring a durable aluminum frame that gives it a premium feel.
Typing and gaming on this keyboard are an absolute delight. The Cherry MX switches provide a satisfying tactile feedback and a smooth keystroke, making it perfect for both typing and gaming enthusiasts. The keys are responsive and accurate, enhancing my overall productivity and gaming experience.
One of the standout features of the K70 MAX is its customizable RGB lighting. The keyboard offers a wide range of vibrant and customizable lighting effects, allowing me to personalize my setup to match my mood or game theme. The Corsair iCUE software is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy to create complex lighting patterns and synchronize them with other Corsair devices.
The K70 MAX’s dedicated media keys and volume wheel are incredibly convenient, providing quick and easy access to multimedia functions without interrupting my workflow. The detachable wrist rest adds to the comfort, ensuring that I can type or game for extended periods without discomfort.
Corsair’s attention to detail is evident in every aspect of this keyboard, from the premium keycaps to the sturdy USB passthrough port. The keyboard’s anti-ghosting and full-key rollover features guarantee accurate input even during intense gaming sessions.
In conclusion, the Corsair K70 MAX is a top-tier mechanical keyboard that offers exceptional performance, durability, and customization options. Whether you’re a gamer, programmer, or anyone in need of a high-quality keyboard, the K70 MAX is a superb choice. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking the best in class!

k70 max magnetic axis keyboard. I opened the package and found the heavy keyboard. The workmanship is indeed much better than the ordinary k70 keyboard. In terms of workmanship, this one is worth it. As for the feel, I think it is average, not good nor bad. I need to adapt to the change of axis. In short, it is worth the money. I like it very much.

To me this keyboard is perfect. Gaming is easier on me because I can reach and hit keys. Not just faster. But with smaller hands and the fact I don’t have to press the key down far for a reaction is amazing.
Sometimes I have up hit alt and a number above it and use my other hand to perform actions at the same time. I can reach them better now because I don’t have to press down as much
And it’s adjustable. It’s default at half a key stroke but you can change it to .4 to not using any adjustments like a normal mechanical keyboard.
I actually like the wrist rest too. Mine is very soft. Nice cushion and I’m thankful it came with an extra space bar and key because i rub the space bar coating off on all my keyboards over time. Now, since I don’t have to press hard it may last longer and I have replacement if it does.
I think the max is worth it.
