I use a game mat for my mouse pad since I have to navigate across 3 monitors. The mat edge was starting to peel and the material was irritating my arm. I needed a long arm rest for the length of the mat.
The WR85B is firmer than my existing WR340LE that i use for my keyboard, but it is just a smooth and comfortable. Since I have it on top of the mat, it is a little high but does not cause any issues.

I started using the 3M gel wrist rests at my keyboard for heavy typing over 20 years ago and they are the best. I use other “bag” rests at my desks for my elbows and arms, and mouse, but I always rely on the 3M to rest my wrists for typing. They are susceptible to leaking when punctured, but the first one I had lasted over 10 years with heavy daily use. The covering material is very soft and very easy on the skin. The product is sturdy and does not move with heavy typing use.

very good quality. i purchased an off brand one before this and regretted it. searched for a name brand and ran across this one, gave it a chance and love it. well made, very firm gel but squishy and soft at the same time. you can tell it will last a long time. the bottom is slick rubber to prevent sliding, but does not stick permanently to the desk in one location. easy to pick up or move around the desk where needed, but also doesnt slip and slide around when you press your arms down on it, if that makes sense. 10/10 would recommend.

This gel wrist rest is very comfortable. It stays put on my desk too. The finish isn’t perfect – there are a handful of very small raised micro-dots on the top that I can feel with my fingertips, but are not felt with my wrists. Looks to be associated with the molding process. Aside, I’ll continue to purchase these as it’s the highest quality wrist rest I’ve purchased. Happy!

A fabric covering would be more comfortable in the short run, but every fabric covered wrest I’ve used got grungy and loose with wear. This is an industrial strength durable desk pillow that provides day long comfort. The vinyl coating can be sticky with sweat, but it cleans easily. Grippy bottom stays put. Okay, this same pad covered in leather would be lux delux but otherwise, this is the best Wrist Pad on the market. Same goes for the smaller mouse pad wrest in the same design… attractive, professional looking and effective.
