Works great. It’s a little loose when plugged into the outlets. We would have to replace the outlet for it to be installed correctly.

I’m using this for my modem, and router as we have a lot of power outages here. Works perfectly. You can’t lose when you purchase a Belkin product!

Fit very well even though I sawed of the stabilizing pin that’s supposed to go into the outlet’s center screw hole because it’s on a GFCI outlet and that’s where the buttons are. It’s probably not in as firmly as it would be if it was in a regular outlet with the pin in place, but I have no problems with it falling out. I keep my cell phone fast charger, electric toothbrush, and rechargeable beard trimmer in the A/C outlets and my Fitbit charger in one of the USB ports. I rest my cell phone on top when charging and it still stays in the outlet without the center pin. No problems at all, except when my wife blows the GFCI and none of my devices charge and I don’t realize until the next morning that my cell phone is nearly dead.

Charge a few phones or a phone and a tablet while running a laptop or other equipment abroad. This device travels everywhere with me because it fits a multitude of purposes. I like the versatility of this device and Belkin is a fantastic, trusted brand with a decent warranty. I have reached out to them before on products that have broken long past there warrantied date and they have replaced it without question. If you need these types of options and want to protect your laptop from hotel surging or sketchy electricity from a foreign place you are staying then this is ideal.

Well made device. I feel confident when using it. USB ability is a nice touch. People complain that it blocks the empty wall socket when this is plugged in but hey, there is 3 outlets in this thing so who cares about not having access to the other wall slot. Without this you have 2 unprotected outlets. With it you have 3 protected plugs plus 2 USBs. Some people just can’t be pleased.

Before you buy, make sure you are aware that this a 3-prong wall mount, that you can only plug this in on the bottom, the top plug on your outlet will get covered up. There’s a screw and a pointy plastic on the back of this wall mount. You’d have to loosen the screw so it would not stick out anymore. This way, it would not interfere with plugging this in on the wall.
I bought one of these 10 years ago and it still works. I bought a second one last week to put in another room in the house. I use them to plug in my 17” Acer Predator laptop, iPhone 11, 5th generation iPad, and INUI portable battery chargers. 540 joules surge protection, 3 outlets, and 2 USB A at 12-watt each, – enough for what I need. I love the cradle/ledge – it holds my cell phone or battery chargers, and even my tablet! Light comes on once you plug in this wall mount so you know there is power and surge protection is working.
The USB A ports charges quick enough for me. If I need to charge faster, I plug in my USB C power block to use for charging. I have 2 power blocks plugged in and my laptop cable fits on the 3rd outlet. For what I have and what I use this for, I can use all 3 outlets and 2 USB As with no issues.

On a recent trip to New Zealand I had bought this as I only had a few plug converters and figured I would get a plug like this to help expand the number of devices I could charge at once. When purchasing I obviously totally forgot that with the USB plugs this probably had some electronics in it that expected a certain voltage….not the voltage I supplied!
I quickly blew the breaker and instantly realized my mistake, checked the back and sure enough. I left it in my luggage the rest of the trip and assumed it was fried but I tried it out when I got home and it seems to work fine! Great product and very useful!
Pros:
– Handled being plugged into a 240V socket despite not being designed for that!
– Very nice having the USB plugs along with the additional outlets
– Has a cradle at the top to rest a phone off the ground while charging
Cons:
– The back has a piece of plastic that sticks out that plugs into the ground socket in the outlet above the one you plug it in. It basically prevents you from plugging this in an outlet along with something else in the same outlet. I’m not sure if that is a safety thing or not but I wasn’t quite expecting it. Just be aware that this will only plug into the bottom socket and cover the top unless you cut off the plastic plug which I probably wouldn’t recommend you do, I’m sure it is there for a reason.

Love the fact that these have USB ports for charging.

This outlet cradle is great. The traditional outlets offer 540 joules of surge protection for powering non-USB items. Also, this item increases the number of outlets from 2 to 3. It also has 2 USB ports that offer 12 Watts / 2.4 Amps of power for each port. I’ve used it to charge my phone, tablet, smart watch, mouse, and GoPro. There is a green light on the item that indicates that it is working and that your devices are protected. It works great and it works quickly. The cradle area on the top is very nice for resting the device that you are charging, with the phone seemingly having the best fit.
This item will take up both outlets when used – the bottom will be where this plugs into and the top will be occupied by a plastic prong that stabilizes the item and also likely designed to prevent overloading the outlet. The item also has a screw that you can use to affix the item to the outlet for more stability and sturdiness. I use the screw when I’m at home but if I travel with it, I regularly do not use the screw and the item stays in place. So it’s a nice luxury to have but it’s not a necessity.
Unlike the other options, there is only one way to install this product and it does not swivel. It sticks out from the existing outlet and all the outlets are on the front of the item. However, unless you have limited space in front of the outlet, this shouldn’t be a huge problem. I’ve never had to use it for any Belkin products but Belkin has a pretty nice warranty program for their products. They stand behind what they produce and will rectify any situation that may arise.
In summary, a nice wall mount outlet surge protector that allows you to power or charge 5 different items at the same time. Between the quality and the price, this is a great value.

I have two of these. If your outlets don’t have the screw between the two of the outlets, there’s no way to really secure these to the outlets. They work well, but they don’t charge my electronics very quickly at all.
