This is my 2nd printer….. started with the e3v2 and I do not feel like I upgraded. I’ve had this machine for 7 days now, the first print was ok, 2nd was questionable, and of the numerous others I’ve tried since, not a single one has made it past the first few layers. Very little support or help online, very few options for slicers unless you are into coding and rooting. And the “little to no adjustment needed” is nothing more than a glorified sales pitch.

I have used a couple other Creality printers (namely the S1 and the max neo models) and this one is perfect for those who looking for a machine to learn to 3D print on or even for someone looking to upgrade within a budget.
It was very easy to setup. I highly recommend double checking all screws and everything to make sure they’re tight and nothing wrong with them before use. My first print on it was perfect! <3 The speed on it was definitely a little faster than my others which is a nice touch. I'm a huge fan of their sprite extruders as they open the doors to speed, quality and ease of working on them.
The plate size is not great for helmets but still big enough for most 3D models out there. I also recommend checking into getting a glass plate as an option or at least a backup plate. Do not clean the plate that came with this with acetone! Personally I use ISP for in-between prints and then I would clean it with dish soap and warm water when it gets really dirty.
Atomic City Design –
I bought this 3D printer in December. I set it up and printed maybe 6 items and it quite working….i send a message to the seller with no response. I call the manufacturer with no response. I changed the motherboard and the screen, use different brands of SD Cards….never worked again. Please don’t waste your money buying this printer!

I got my printer delivered to me on February 7 2024. I bought it because I wanted something fairly good for new beginners and this was recommended on several YouTube channels. It worked great for about 3 and half weeks. But not I can’t get any prints to adhere to the build plate. It appears the auto bed leveling isn’t working properly because every time I do the bed leveling test it gives different scores every time and tries printing noticeable to high off the bed. I’ve watched far to many YouTube videos to try to fix it. and even bought the 3D Printing Failures book 2022 edition to Tri and read up on the subject. But nothing I’ve read or watched has brought me any closer to fixing this issue. And the worst part I can’t even return the thing because the return window closed as of march 8. So no I don’t recommend the Ender 3 v3 Ke. Not until the bugs are out at least.

 Woah! I’ve been printing for some time and have had creality printers throughout the years and I think this had to be one of the quickest and most painless setups I’ve ever had to do! – 12 screws and 4 connections and it was built! When I attached the first 6 screws from the bottom, I just slid the printer slightly bit over of the edge of my desk one side at a time to easily get to the bottom – The top is slotted into the bottom so it wasn’t hard to line up and was happy to not have to worry about holding it up the whole time I’m adding screws (LOL!) – 2 more screws behind the right side z axis to make it secure – 2 screws for the display, and 2 for the spool holder! – Connect your display (you can slide it off and on the mount if need to) – Connect your x and z axis motors and your main sprite style hot-end connector and voila it was built! – Make SURE to select your voltage in the back (115 for the U.S) before plugging in your power cord! – Power on, Select Leveling from the menu and let it finish! – No manual bed leveling with screws and knobs, and it set its z-offset by itself! – Super easy DirectDrive system has one simple lever to insert filament and then all I had to do was insert the SDcard (not microSD) and print! – Beautiful first layer – Nice sides and walls – Great out of the box experience and if this had been my first printer ever I may be MORE addicted to printing than I am! (LOL!) – 10/10 for a printer that just works! Would make a fantastic first printer! Tons of help and resources to be found on Creality’s official fb group too!

Nice printer for sure. Easy to assemble. BUT the assembly “manual” sucks! The print is almost too small to see. But the assembly is pretty straightforward. I will say, the parts bags are labeled with the sizes, so there’s no getting confused. If it wasn’t for the poor manual, I give it five stars.

The KE is a great printer for the price. It uses Klipper, so it prints fast. Offers wireless connectivity and uses USB for uploading your files. Although there is a light kit available, I wish it shipped with one.
