Easy to set up. Ethernet cords a bit short. Ping lower than my Wi-Fi ping which is good, but the download and upload speed is worse. Doesn’t matter, I have lower Ping.

We just moved into an older 2 story home and I was challenged on how to connect our multiple internet devices (BlueRay with Netflix, Computers, Etc). Doing some research I discovered these internet adapters and I cannot believe how easy it was to wire this old house. Simply connect one to your router and the other in an electrical outlet in the room where you need connectivity. that simple! This worked so well I bought another set and now have full connectivity in my entire home. Very handy because in this older home where we have an office upstairs and downstairs needing connectivity

Excellent product and easy to set up. I saved myself some money by obtaining this product via Warehouse Deals and it functions as though it’s brand new. Very happy with it.

This is a review for the VideoLink Powerline

I bought this because I already had an existing powerline setup. I already had a Belkin VideoLink and VideoLink 3. I had read some reviews saying that this wouldn’t work with more than 2 adapters so I was skeptical. Setup was a breeze. I was able to pair the new VideoLink without any issues. The new VideoLink hooked up directly to my desktop. Of course I have one powerline adapter that is connected to the router and then another one that is located in a room on the other side of the house. That powerline connects to a wireless access point so that I can get wifi in every part of the house. The wireless is not seamless where it can handoff to the new access point. I have to change the wifi access point on my device if I move to that room but at least I get wifi in every room now.

The only downside to this product is that the speed is not quite up there. For browsing the internet, it is plenty fast, but when accessing files off my home NAS server, transfer speeds are slow.

Overall, I would recommend this product for its ease of use and setup.

It works well but it is best at streaming movies and music. It’s slower than my wifi G but it’s consistent in it’s speed.

I bought four of these things. The first set worked pretty well, so I bought a second set to use with my other computer but the second set never worked. They would keep losing the connection once they were paired. Spent about 3 hours with tech support, but she couldn’t figure it out either.

Works great!!! Wow no need to worry about shoddy wireless wifi signals! We use it for our ps4 – easy set up and really works to keep a constant good connection.

It works ok all by itself, but not as fast as the “HD” version of this product. And you its not compatible with other types. If you want to use more than the 2 that comes in this box, you need to purchase another 2 and go through a painstaking task of syncing them. Belkin doesn’t offer really good customer service. Honestly I’m thinking I should stop buying from Belkin because they can’t make compatible products and they don’t offer good support.

Couldn’t figure out how to get a private password going, so I just ended up resetting everything and using the default password. Also it doesn’t travel very far through my house as it must have isolated circuits everywhere, so it really only works between sockets in the same room or on the opposite sides of the same wall.

I received these today and updated the firmware from the Belkin website and had them working in about ten minutes (half of that was probably the upgrade taking place).

I have an Actiontech router that is pretty weak, but my cable company won’t give me anything else and it also runs my TV cable, so I can’t get rid of it. The far areas of my house (mainly the area in the basement and my bedroom) received less than stellar internet. My initial speed test using wi-fi in the bedroom was 3.21 down/ 3.63 up (see picture included).

I plugged one of these into the Ethernet of my router and then directly into the wall (do not plug it into anything but the wall, apparently surge protectors and the likes slow these things down or just don’t work at all). The other one was plugged into my bedroom was and then the ethernet was run to my computer. They sync’d on their own and began working, no work on my part at all.

With the new setup working I ran a second speed test, this time receiving internet via the powerline adapters. The my surprise, my download speed increased to 27.52 (nearly a 900% increase) and my download speed increased to 24.93 (about 800%). Needless to say, that was well worth the few minutes of my time and much cheaper/less complicated than other alternatives.

I purchased a powerline wifi adapter to create a hotspot in my room (being tethered to the wall is only going to work for my desktops). It sounds like that should provide wifi to devices like tablets etc. I will post again to let you know my findings.

Works well on the same electrical line. Does not work in other parts of the house.

I originally bought this product two years ago but needed a second set. It refused to work. I wasted $30.

While product descriptions and the manual describe establishing connections at 200MB/s, using the device to connect a gateway and computer on opposite sides of the same room, on the same circuit realized internet speeds of 45MB/s. I understand that connection speeds are not directly related to internet speed, but less than a quarter (btw, a direct Ethernet connection to my gateway realizes internet speeds of 150MB/s) of the indicated possibility is less than desired.

Package shipped quickly, arrived quickly, contained two sets and an instruction manual. Installation was very easy and required minimal effort. Does provide Ethernet access, as described, although at lower speeds than described.
