I now have 2 of these heaters. I have enjoyed the first one so well I wanted a second one. Initial shipping was lost or something, but the seller sent a second one immediately. I received the heater a day or two later than expected but that was no issue to me.
The thermostat on these heaters works great for controlling my well house temperature to keep the water lines from freezing. Recently had 10 days of freezing temperatures and it kept the water lines clear. Yes $80+ for a well house heater is a little high compared to other heaters, but the adjustability of the temperature works well for my situation without fear of freezing. This is why I now have a second unit for any other situation that may arise.

The fan is so poor the heat doesn’t reach from the heater to a chair sitting right next to it. Quite disappointed as we have a Lasko fan that is awesome.

BEST Space Heater Ever!
This is the safest, most efficient heater we have ever owned. Over the years we have bought 4 for us and 3 for other people. They work great and are safe for children and pets. These are nearly impossible to turn over. We bought our first 2 about 15 years ago and we keep looking for these as needed for us and as gifts. They seem to last forever. We had one die from abuse (dropped on concrete from about 4 feet), but that’s our fault. You will not be disappointed if you buy one or more. Well worth the investment!

Good but the heat output is a little low in my opinion. My old gray box heater puts out more heat than this. It wins on the noise level though, it is very quiet. I could deal with more noise for more heat though.

Purchase this heater due to my place of employment having a few there. This machine is wonderful, has a timer when to cut off and will automatically turn on depending on setting. Has cool air that it blows and has two sets of heat.
This heated our living room, to the dinning room all the way to the kitchen and den. Raised the temperature in the house about two notches while it was 33 degrees outside but inside was 76 degrees.

We bought this heater because we had purchased an earlier model 5909 and it is very reliable and convenient. The two models are very similar except the new one has more plastic in the handle and stand. We measured both heaters at 1500 watts at 120 volts. They are both very quiet in fact the new 5919 is quieter. What we like is that the Lasko unit is nearly impossible to knock over and the carrying handle is well balanced and away from the heat source. The 5919 seems to be very safe in dry locations We use them for supplemental heat in the workshop/garage. They work very well and are near industrial quality.
