I’m elderly, have osteoporosis and my old vacuum cleaner was hard to push around. I have large areas of carpets and I couldn’t vacuum more than my family room & kitchen at one time. So, I’ve been looking for a new vacuum for a couple of months and after researching each brand I decided to buy a BISSELL. I looked at all the reviews and based my decision on the following criteria: ease of use, weight, pet hair removal (I have 4 inside/outside cats) and cleaning power. This vacuum has exceeded all my expectations. I couldn’t believe how much hair I vacuumed up on my 8×12’ rug because I had to empty it before using again and it had only been a few days after using my old vacuum. The rest of my house is so much cleaner now. It is easy to maneuver, adjustable heights for bare floors and carpets,lightweight, has a heavy duty cord, large rear wheels and the tool suction works wonders. I am so happy with this purchase. I was able to vacuum 3 rooms before quitting. Also, the air seems much cleaner after use. Also, the wand works well and I didn’t have a problem with it tipping over. The only thing I didn’t realize is that it does not have an automatic cord return. This isn’t a deal breaker for me because it only takes a few second to wrap it up. Hope this review helps others.

I have always been a Dyson consumer but with the great ratings this Bissell received I thought I would give it a try and I am so glad I did! It’s lighter to carry upstairs and easier to push. The suction is great and picked up more dirt even right after using my Dyson. Plus, the price is a fraction of the Dyson! I plan on buying one more so I can have one on each level of my house and not have to carry it up or downstairs!

Likes- light weight, good siction, good brush, long cord, power button on feet level, vacuum leveler is also of feet level, easy cleaning, easy maintenance, washable filter. Mostly lock and twist not many screws, swivel helps with maneuvering.
Dislikes- vacuum brush does not auto turn off when you engage the wand. Pet tool falls off from holder when vacuum in use, wand hose is not long enough.
Conclusion- overall it works well and ease of use makes my cleaning easier and more efficient. I’ve used for carpet and regular flooring, couch, seats. Happy with the suction, works great. Used itfor the first time(08/06/2024). May give update. Good buy!
