Product came in a timely fashion. Package undamaged.
I unpacked and cleaned it. Then we cooked some frozen chicken wings. Came out great and cooked quickly.
Clean up wasn’t too bad, but some food was stuck to the bottom of the basket screen and the bottom of the pot it goes into.
I had to scrub it with a Scotch Brite non abrasive sponge to get the stuck on food off the non stick coating and noticed there was a small, perhaps 3mm spot where the coating came off.
Next day we used it again. We did some burgers and then some fresh chicken wings. Again they cooked fast and tasted delicious.
Again, clean up was not a breeze. Food stuck to the bottom again. I decided to let it soak with hot water and Dawn detergent. After 30 minute soak still the food was cemented to the bottom of the pot.
I let it soak overnight. In the morning the food was still very stuck. I used hot water the non abrasive sponge and scrubbed the food off the bottom and with some heavy duty pressure, it cleaned up. However, now there are 6 spots where the non stick coating has come off. Now if you’ve ever fried chicken in a pan or even cooked it in the oven, the residue can be hard to remove from even the best non stick surfaces.
My wife thinks we should return it since we just bought it and used it twice. I’m thinking that it is not worth the hassle. Box it up, pay to send it back, possibly have the company contest that we did something wrong, etc., etc.
I think I will keep it because it does cook well and quickly, the food tastes great, and with the exception of the non stick coating is only non stick, as in its lack of adherence to the pot, I am satisified.
I will just line the bottom of the pot, under the rack in the basket, with foil.

General Use: The controls on this unit take some getting used to but once you get them down it’s easy to use.
I’m also pleased to report while this thing is running the sides are safe to touch and it doesn’t get too hot like some other models I’ve tested where they get so hot you might burn yourself touching the side of the unit while cooking.
Rotisserie: The rotisserie feature works well and I made a 5.5lb bird with it. The spindle appears to be of metal construction, unlock some other units I tested where the spindle was plastic. The included “Basket” snugly fits the Costco Hot Dogs!… 170F at 30 minutes on 700W and they are perfectly prepared every time, just like you get them hot in the store which was HUGE bonus for me as I couldn’t find anything out there to heat them properly due to their large size.
French Fries: I purchased the separate Drum basket accessory and can happily report it easily makes 2lb’s of fries reliably.
Dehydrator?: During this 30 day period my Excalibur Dehydrator failed after 2 hours and I used this for 34 hours running continuously at 105F to finish the job, did excellent work.
I haven’t had opportunity to make a steak yet with the grill plate using the included thermometer but the above success stories are enough to make me keep and recommend the unit to others at this point.
Hope this review helps you with your purchasing decision.

I love my air fryer. I use it for French fries, chicken recipes and such. It’s very easy to use.

I have owned this air fryer for a 2 years. The air fryer itself works great. We use as small oven 99% of time. I have tried gauge but couldn’t get it to work right. HOWEVER there are 2 main flaws with this.
1. The door folds down and catches everything from the trey (same as an oven door). So every time you use the air fryer you have to wash the door. This is not too bad but see #2 below.
2. The hinges at that hold the door on are made of plastic. The first hinge broke within the first 6 months of having the oven. The other broke about 6 months ago. I can still get the door to shut and hold it on but it is not secure at all. These 2 little plastic hinges have a screw at the bottom that hold them on. So I emailed Nuwave explained my situation and told them that I was certain it was out of warranty but I would happily pay for these or possibly upgraded metal ones.
— Well they don’t have upgraded metal ones so even if I bought new ones then the same thing would end up happening again.
— Now for the kicker – They wanted $119.98 + $29.99 shipping to send me new ones. For those doing the math. That is almost $150 for 2 hinges when I can buy a brand new device for $161.
I will never buy from them again nor would I ever encourage ANYONE to buy from them. This is just robbery. There are other devices out there with better door mechanisms around same price.
BUYER BEWARE!!!

Would recommend no issues

I’ve been using this air fryer for a month now, almost daily. Once I mastered its operational challenges (mostly my fault) it works like a charm. It is a real time saver and cleans up easily. If there is any complaint it’s the thermometer that included. It’s slow to measure the cooked item’s temperature. I use an external gage because of that.

Great product…I use it everyday!
So far so good, works fast east to use I would recommend –
Excelente opción en freidora de aire. Rápida, silenciosa y muy fácil de usar.

Love it. Cannot live without it. First air fryer and I cook everything in it. It’s huge. I’ve rotisserie whole chicken in it. I’ve cooked just about everything in this air fryer. It’s easy to use and has so many uses and functions. Compared to the price of other ones this is cheap and works just as good if not better. I know because I have friends with Ninjas and other brand names that do less. Highly recommend for those on edge about this one.

Lo único malo es que por lo general tarda más la comida en cocinarse de lo que te recomienda en proveedor
