This is my second Cosori electric kettle. I purchased the first one in 2019. I used this kettle everyday for 3 years sometimes twice a day. The quality is excellent, easy to clean and a very attractive design. It looks beautiful on my coffee bar. This electric kettle has been one of the most reliable appliances in my kitchen. However, after 3 years the auto shutoff switch seems a little slower than when it was new. This kettle is simple to operate and brings water to a rapid boil very quickly. There is a safety auto shutoff and is easily turned off and on. The water stays hot for a long time after it boils. I have since gifted this electric kettle to most of my family members, everyone loves it. Shipping is always in a timely manner and the packaging is very good. I would recommend Cosori electric kettles.

Critically, this an all steel kettle. No plastic touching the water to be boiled every day for years and the infused water consumed by humans (those little plastic “water level” windows in kettles should be completely done away with). Heats quickly and turns off like clockwork as soon as the water hits boiling. Brings water to a full boil (essential for good brewing). Five stars for all this.
This kettle obviously was designed to look sleek and modern – and it does. In the process of that they ruined the spout by not making it deep enough. Obviously didn’t want it protruding too much. Now, when you try to make a full pour, boiling water sloshes out the sides of the spout. Putting form over function is so dumb. They should fix this starting tomorrow. Another, though less important, design flaw is that there is no knob on the lid (sleek though). Sometimes you need to open the lid fully just after it’s boiled and everything is still hot. The thumbpress on the handle will release the lid but not always open it all the way (it doesn’t seem to be meant to) so, absent a knob on the lid, you have to push it fully open by the (often hot) edge of the lid, not terribly inconvenient, but not ideal. This tea kettle would be better for a knob on the lid.
I was suspicious about this hole (see pic) in the water cannister, top rear, but hasn’t caused any concerns and I’ve made 4 pots of tea per day with it for months now. I guess it is to allow any water that gets inside the plastic outer shell to get steamed out.

BE CAREFUL WHEN ORDERING. Nice looking kettle, but did not get a chance to use it as it came fitted with a 110v US/North American plug. Why? I bought this on Amazon UK? I really looked forward to using this kettle as it has really good reviews. Alas, not. Returned for a refund.

I bought this to replace an old GE kettle that had a similar base plate. The metal contacts on the bottom of the old one became corroded to the point that it wouldn’t power on any more. This has a similar design for the base and contacts, however the new kettle has a concave bottom. The concave bottom of the kettle, compared with the relatively flat bottom of the old one, leads me to think that the contacts won’t be as prone to getting wet if placed on a wet counter. This would be a design improvement, but it will take years to determine that for sure. I definitely have more confidence in the design on this one.
I like that the top of the kettle is big enough that I can wash and dry off the inside with a towel when needed. By contrast, my old kettle had a very narrow opening so I’d need to get creative when cleaning it. For reference, I typically wear large gloves and there’s enough room for someone with bigger hands than mine to wipe down the inside.
The fill marks are embossed on the inside of the kettle which makes it very easy to see while filling. I really like this design compared to my old kettle, which had a clear fill gauge located on the handle, which was useless.
The shape is dead simple, basically a pitcher, no weird bulges or creases, so it’s easy to see whether or not it’s clean. The only spot I’d be concerned with cleaning is the spout, which, because it is welded on, has a crevice along the weld and the side of the pitcher. The spout is big enough to clean by hand though, so it’s a minor concern.
Overall it feels sturdy, the walls are thick, it holds temperature well, the safety switch is loud enough to hear clicking, it looks nice, and I’m happy with it. I’d definitely recommend it.

This is my first electric kettle, so I have nothing else to compare it to (other than microwaving water or using the stove). But even without other kettles to compare it to, I would still go with this one! The design is simple, just one button to boil and that’s it. I’ve never had any issues with the spout or the water not getting hot enough. It’s performed perfectly for 2 whole years.
Would it be nice if it had a warming feature to keep the water warm after boiling? Yeahhh. But it comes to a boil so quickly, I don’t even mind having to press the button again if I want to make some more hot water.
The only flaw I have noticed is that the black coating on the outside did start to come off in one place. I noticed this after moving and this kettle being in a box. I don’t know if it happened during that process or before, but it’s only a slight cosmetic problem. I honestly don’t mind much.
I love this kettle! Definitely reccommend.

I love everything about this COSORI electric tea kettle. First of all it looks great! I got the 1.5 L in stainless steel finish. It is Cool Touch so I won’t burn myself. It is fast to boil and automatically turns Off when it’s done. I won’t worry about boiling my tea kettle dry. The switch illuminates with a blue light when it is on. The cord wraps neatly in the base.
Includes a nice instruction booklet and has 2 year warranty.
It was packaged securely and arrived on schedule.
Looking forward to many nice cups of tea!

My previous full stainless steel kettle dies after 4 years. Bought this one for its styling, function and full stainless steel. It doesn’t have a heating rod, which is a big plus. Double insulation wall is also nice. Lid design is good. The blue LED is a nice touch. Hope this one lasts longer than 4 years.
