Love love love these. I have a huge sterilite basket already and it’s a soft plastic, bends easily without cracking. I thought these were identical but they are a thinner, harder plastic without as much give.
I love the thick handles. Nice and sturdy. And the size is equivalent to a standard basket as these are taller.
6 baskets are perfect. My two boys each have a basket in their room, I have two on my shelves in the bathroom (one for colours one for darks), one in my room, and one is always full of other stuff lol
I love that these are a small square shape so the kids can handle it themselves and even empty it in the washing machine.

I first had the larger laundry baskets where you could put double the clothes. I don’t know if it is my aging body or the two flights of stairs or probably more has to do with the tight turns I have in my home, but I found them too large to maneuver as I moved clothes up and down between my upstairs bedroom and my basement laundry room. These, however, are just the perfect size for holding a load or two right in front of me without being too heavy and without doing a juggling act to make it through the tight corners. I highly recommend. These hold up and are easy to use. So many other similar baskets have broken with barely any use, but these last and last and last.

These baskets are the perfect size. I love the square design. As others have stated in their reviews… it makes it easy to get through door ways with this basket on the hip. I am always doing laundry. I have a family of 5 and I do 1 or 2 loads of laundry per day – depending on how many sports are happening at any given point. I need a lot of laundry baskets. I love that these all stack nicely together. I have never had any problems getting them separated and they fit great in my laundry room. They are a good solid plastic – not flimsy at all. The handles are comfortable and I have not had any fall off. They hold a load of clothes without a problem. I would and have recommended these laundry baskets to friends. You can’t beat the price for what you get. My only wish is that they came in a color that is more vibrant. Laundry sucks – it is fun to add a little color to something so mundane.

Got these laundry baskets at the beginning of COVID 4 years ago and they are holding up great. None of them have broken and we use them daily! The cool thing is they are the perfect size for 1 load of laundry in the washer. Seems like the laundry will never be finished! These are solid laundry baskets and they are worth every penny!

This is a review of Sterilite 1.5 bushel laundry baskets. Love it! I have a full-sized top-loading home washing machine in my basement and also a full-size front-loading dryer. This basket filled to the top exactly equals one load. Also, they are very sturdy. The ventilation holes are not too close to the bottom of the basket, so if a sock or something is sticking out one of the holes, it does not drag on the floor. The handles are very comfortable. Before I bought these, I was using some plastic laundry baskets that I got at the grocery store a long time ago. My old baskets were made of a kind of floppy plastic that tore easily and the ridges dug into my fingers when the baskets were full. Also, I had them so long that the plastic had darkened a lot. I felt kind of guilty for replacing them because they still worked, but I have to say, I’m not sorry. Now I have two sets of laundry baskets, using the new ones and keeping the old ones for sorting on heavy laundry days. Someday I will buy another set of these and donate my old set to the thrift store.

I bought this set eight years ago to serve as laundry baskets for our family of four. They have served well and they still look like new. Nothing has chipped or broken. I love how easy they are to stack, and they hold one load of laundry nicely. I don’t love how they waste some space because of the lip around the rim, and that I have to always carry them with two hands, so I’m planning to replace them with a bit sleeker metal ones with only one handle, but that’s not a fault of these baskets. I’ll keep a few as backups.

I needed to replace my 10 year old runnermaid baskets & replacing them were expensive. I wanted stackable baskets & these are perfect! They Look small but it fits exactly 1 load of laundry. $8/ea is an awesome bargain. Only con is it doesn’t fit under my square ikea tables like the old ones but not a big deal. These bins are great. I got them when they were listed for about $10 each which was ideal. I wanted to buy more but the inflated price at time of writing isn’t worth it for me as a mom and fulltime student.
The compact size is ideal for navigating hallways and doors. It’s also fantastic for sorting laundry by family member. The size perfectly fits a generous load of laundry or two medium size loads. They also stack nicely when not in use. They are super durable. The platstic is nice and thick without being too heavy. I’m not worried about these breaking like my last bins.
As I said. I love them, recommend them, and am currently waiting for a better price to return. If you’ve got the cash though, just go for it. Very convenient.
