Great cabinet and better than I expected. The color of ours is a few shades darker than what I thought it was going to be based on the photos and I like it better this way. My assumption is that the darker color would not have photographed very well and been difficult to see on a web page.
Not sure what everyone is talking about around how difficult it was to assemble. If you have experience with Ikea furniture, this is kind of a no brainer. I actually lost the instructions in the box, just didn’t see them when I pulled everything out, took a look at everything spread out and was confident I could figure it out with out them. Found the instructions later and yea, but I could have assembled with out them. Instructions were written in good English which is a nice detail.
It’s made from heavy particle board so expect that. Doesn’t seem like it will scratch easily and the surface has a nice smooth feel. Happy to buy something from this company again.

I’ve given this a 4 in some areas because there’s nothing that can really make something like this “easy” to assemble. I did not attempt this myself. HOWEVER my handyman said that the pictoral directions were clear and straightforward, and nothing was skipped. There are extra screws and connector pieces; every bag is labeled with numbers and letters.
This was a replacement that had to fit a specific space underneath a desk- so I didn’t have much choice in cabinet. It looks nice (the medium deep wood color is lovely) BUT the bottom of the drawers are flimsier than they were on my 25-year-old one: they’re about a 1/4″ instead of 1/2″ board. Hopefully it will bear the weight of all the stuff I have.
I got my old desk as a set when I had next to no money- why is it so hard to find a simple, similar one that’s made well? Just a question for the universe.

It was very hard to put together. I had to have someone do it and they had a hard time. Bottom drawer has an issue but I can deal with it. Also no metal frame in drawer to hang the files I had to order one hopefully it fits. I held it for too long before opening box so instructions were missing. Customer service was very helpful though and got back to me right away with instructions. It is a nice size and looks nice.

These were a bit of a challenge to assemble. They are perfect for what we needed.

This product looks decent, but is extremely low quality. The boards are very thin so the screws to put everything together are very short almost impossible to hold onto when putting it together. The drawers top two drawer slides are flimsy and do not easily slide in and out. The bottom drawer has a much better slide and works well. However with the screws being so short and the thin board construction I do fear it will not hold the weight if I fill it with files. I guess only time will tell

The directions for this could have been described better. It was nice to have extras of all hardware, except all of them were in the same bag, i.e. if you needed ten #6 screws, it gave you fifteen in one packet. I would have preferred extras to be packaged separately. Now I’m left scratching my head wondering if I missed something. The file cabanite drawer tracks were an absolute nightmare to put onto the drawer. The small tracks that the brackets where the tracks are supposed to slide into and then be screwed to the drawer were not milled correctly, so the tracks would not slide into the groove.I have an angled wood file and was able to make the tracks wider for the brackets to slide in, but that wasn’t enough. I ended up using a small chisle and hammer to notch out the track to make it wider. What should have taken about 30 mins to put it all together ended up taking almost 2hrs with all the messing around with the drawer and figuring out what the directions were trying to instruct you to do. The partical board is not sturdy at all. It crumbled in places just touching it.This is absolutely not worth the money.

My neighbor put this together for me and he did a very nice job. He said it was very easy to assemble. Looks just like the picture. Looks nice in my office/spare room. I saved the top drawer for guest the others I use for my office stuff.
Works out well and a place for my paper files with the hanging file option.

I was looking for a wooden under-desk cabinet with drawers. Solid wood options turned out to be crazy expensive ($300 at a minimum). This plastic-laminate-covered particleboard cabinet for around $95 was a great option. As other reviews have noted, the construction does take a couple of hours. I disagree with the comments about the instructions being confusing. I found the graphics-based guidance to be extremely clear. The parts are all labeled with stickers that match the drawings. All the hardware comes in labeled plastic bags (with extras of each type of screw, dowel, etc., in case you drop one and can’t find it, as always happens). Once again, the instructions clearly label which type of hardware, and how many of each, to use in each step. I suspect the folks who had trouble with assembly were in a rush. I covered a table with a couple of towels to protect it and the cabinet parts, and laid all the pieces out in numerical order. That let me sit up during the process. If I’d done it on the floor, bending over for a hour or more would have been a backbreaker! Make sure you use a properly sized screwdriver. I used an electric drill with a screw bit, which speeded things up. The kit included a small, cheap screwdriver, that I think would have resulted in some stripped screwheads and a sore wrist. I was careful to screw things slowly and had absolutely no problems with the particleboard or fasteners. The finished product is very sturdy. Everything lined up perfectly.
