Dreller –
So much things to say about this scanner.
It’s effective, is fast, works with Windows, Mac and Linux. Generates high quality PDF. I can’t be more satisfied.
Emanuel machado –
Muito prático, fácil manuseio, scaneia com uma boa resolução, Top mesmo, cumprim tudo que promete, sabendo que o modelo funciona com o cabo.
Polymath –
I bought this to replace an old Canon scanner that developed a software glitch.
Once the easy software download was complete the Epson was good to go.
You just feed the item or items to be scanned into the slot and in about 2 seconds the item is scanned.
You’re then given an easy to use menu of options on your computer of what to do with your scan(s).
The unit has a very small footprint and is very lightweight and reasonably priced.
All told an excellent piece of equipment for basic home use. I just purchased it so I can’t speak to its durability.

Compact and easy to use. Works well and connects easily to my HP laptop with USB. The model I got was not independently powered or WiFi. Would recommend upgrading to that if you’re going to use this a lot. Otherwise for casual use this works. Text is clear and it does color pics as well.
Only complaint is the paper does not scan in completely straight there is a little black on one corner. Only reason it’s four stars instead of five.

I used this once to scan a bunch of documents. The picture quality was really good. After that first use, I stored it away for about a month and pulled it back out to use again. Windows detected the scanner, but the Epson ScanSmart software could not detect it. Since the Non-so ScanSmart software has no function to exit/close, I had to kill the process. After I restarted the software, I unplugged the scanner and plugged the it back in, at which point ScanSmart detected it, but still would not scan. I would press the scan button on the scanner and ScanSmart would pop-up (indicating it received the command), but then tell me to load the original document into the ADF to scan (which the document was already loaded). This functioned perfectly the first time, but yeah, I’m done. I tried this far too many times now. Combined with trying to combat software that wants to run on startup with the computer, has trouble detecting it’s own product, has no troubleshooting or restart functions, and will not close , Revo Uninstaller to the rescue and the scanner is in about a thousand pieces in my garbage bin outside. I would give this 0 stars if I could.

Like others, I found a mountain of photos after my mother died. Many old family pictures that I couldn’t just discard but took up a lot of room. I bought this to scan and save those photos to a smaller package. Works well for the purpose.
For color photos this unit is great. It’s fast, easy to use, portable. Software has very basic controls for adjusting image quality.
One big caveat, it does NOT work on old, glossy, black and white photos. Hard to explain the effect but the image itself is only black and white with no grayscale so everything is washed out. Having to use an old, slow, flatbed scanner for these.
Overall I’m happy with my purchase. Pretty good value for what it offers.

Ich habe den direkten Weg zum PC und alles schnell abgelegt

This outperforms my old scanner. It’s tiny, but it scans fast. I thought I had a problem, so I called tech support. The problem was actually an adjustment on my printer (my fault), but when I contacted tech support, they helped me immediately with no endless waiting and phone trees, etc. So not only is this an amazingly flawless product, their tech support is outstanding and prompt.

I own an HP LasetJet MFP M277dw (AC190CE7) at home, that is awesome for printing, and that has an auto-feeder multi-page scanning function. And I thought it was great until I bought this little thing for when I need to scan something and I’m travelling.
This thing works wonders. It’s not the best scanning quality, but it’s more than enough for documents. And it’s so easy to use! I’m on Mac, the software is great. I just plug the thing in, feed it a document, press the button, feed the other side, press, page 2, page 2 reverse, and that’s it.
I’m now even using it at home instead of the auto-feeded HP LaserJet multi-function for documents. But I still use the HP for high quality scanning, like photos and all.
I would have bought it way sooner had I known. Great product.

Bought it to convert our physical docs like tax returns into digital ones (yay minimalism!) and it worked great! Was even able to scan thicker files and things like birthday cards too. Was really easy to get it connected and the software installed on my desktop. Image quality was good, and I loved the speed and portability.

Produces really nice digitizations of my physical documents. It’s especially good with long pieces of paper (like receipts) and big scans (I’ve made 200+ page pdfs with this), and the companion software lets you crop and rearrange the pages of your scan. Rarely has issues with feeding paper, but when it does it’s because the paper has a big crease. Just hold the paper straight and it will be fine. File sizes are also RIDICULOUSLY SMALL. 20-50 kilobytes per page, absolutely amazing. My old scans that used my phone’s camera were about 10x-100x larger in file size.
Only downsides are that it’s very bad at scanning faint marks or pencil marks. changing contrast settings in the software does absolutely nothing. You might need to manually annotate the PDFs/PNGs afterward if you want to keep the information readable. Doesn’t work with any book-style documents, obviously. No-go for things like passports. It’s not too bad with glossy documents like ID cards, the color is a bit too saturated for my taste, but it’s readable enough. Again, the software settings do nothing to change the scans.

This sucker was sorta difficult installing the program but after that it is simple to use. Idk what people are talking about on how the machine doesn’t even suck in the paper. But for me I had no issue. The machine takes the paper and scans it precisely. Lastly this is a great product for the money and portability.
