We received some damaged boards and they were so kind to switch them out for new ones with no problems. The color is truly represented in their pictures and the wood quality is good.

So the desk is very poor quality. Barely a step above cardboard. The directions are very poorly written and several pieces don’t line up as they should. We had to drill several holes in order to get the pieces to fit as they should. The original delivery was missing several pieces and several damaged. The company did (finally) send replacements but took a while and I was left with this desk in pieces all over the room until I got the replacements. I truly regret buying it and would have sent it back except they said I’d have to pay for return shipping and I’d have to rebox all three boxes and take them to shipment place. I’m 68 years old and no way can I lift them to do that. What good was prime in this order?
If you want junk and a lot of aggravation ok but if not DON’T BUY THIS DESK

As stated in a few other reviews the directions can get a bit confusing but if you take your time and place pieces for visual with pics in directions it comes together. There are a few connections with no pre-drilled holes specifically on the molding pieces and the metal brackets that connect the desk pieces.
I added Elmer’s glue to all the posts that insert into the locks and instead of using the metal brackets to connect the executive desk to the L-shaped, I used 3 bracket to connect the L-shape. There is also a left over large piece that I did not see used in the directions that I put on top of the hutch to give it a more professional look but did not screw in. The extra bracket and Elmer’s glue made it much more sturdy as the posts do not all fit tightly.
There is plenty of desk space…I work from home and have multiple laptops and monitors and no problem getting everything setup with plenty of workspace to spare.
The directions call for 2 people for assembly but I was able to put it together myself over 4 days after work working at a casual pace. I was also able to move it myself a short distance but it is extremely heavy and sliding on a rug or rough surface is quite difficult.
Overall very satisfied and would highly recommend to anyone needing a lot of desk space.

It’s a nice, sturdy desk with lots of space. The single drawer is a little shallow, and personally, I’d prefer another drawer, so there are 2 deeper drawers instead of the door/shelf between the top and bottom file drawer.
There were no instruction surprises, whereas in another piece I bought, in the same step, one piece needed to go on before anything else, which wasn’t obvious from the instructions. Do put the 2 large desk parts together and put them into your final placement before connecting the middle piece. You do not want to move this all together.
It took about 3 hours (with an assistant – definitely needed for certain times!) plus a little extra fixing the below issues:
Two design issues: Pieces 80-82 (the front trim pieces) are not lined up well with the groove, so do not depend on the groove, especially since these screws are very short. They will not hold if you have to back them out. I redid them after the piece was together so they lined up right.
Also, connecting the top cover on the hutch, those screws are too short to hold effectively. I thought about getting slightly longer ones, but I just installed the top after everything was in place. A good yank on the top will pull it off.
Summary: It’s a nice piece if you are budget-conscious – recommend!
Bestar: get longer screws for a couple of spots, and ditch the grooves on the trim pieces!

A few of the parts where not lettered or numbered. Also if the assembly screws, etc. where placed in separated bags as per each step it would be a lot easier to follow directions. Otherwise it was quite easy to assemble.

The deal came in three separate boxes and definitely needed two people to lift. Once I got everything out it was a little bit confusing to put together, make sure to pay attention to the top of each page. While building I built the L shape before I realized I did not follow the U shape directions. I was missing parts for the hitch but they were helpful and got them to me within a week. It is such a beautiful piece and well worth the purchase.

It took me all weekend, but I actually put the whole thing together by myself. My husband did have to help me lift the hutch to place on top of the desk, other than that it was all me. I do wish there was more drawer space but a filing cabinet will fit underneath the desk, so I have my extra drawers and since this is not much leg room I don’t even notice that I have given up that space. The color is great, although I preferred the lighter color that was not available when I ordered. I do believe the price is a little steep for the materials that are used to put together. It is very heavy and sturdy, and makes my homeoffice look bigger.

See the picture I’ve included of the green plastic end on a silver metal stick? Yeah use hot glue. Do not do what the directions say to “push with thumb into desk” because it bursts through the other side and also majority of them are defective. The desk is very visually appealing over all and it’s the right size for my computer equipment. It is a fever dream to put together though. It took two people, one of whom is an engineer, to understand the instructions and think of solutions for some of its quirks. You will need to buy your own anchors for the hutch.
FedEx delivery also left it in the middle of my driveway in the rain which left me quite frustrated.
I will be keeping the desk because it will not be moving or coming apart after all of that hot glue. It does it’s purpose.

I have had this desk a couple of months now. It is great and functioning exactly as I had hoped it would. There were a few screws that were a little too short, but we’ve replaced them and it is holding together well. A well priced desk and worth the price.
