When you’re setting this tent up the whole top is open until you fully erect it and put on the top fly. This means you can’t set it up if there’s even a bit of drizzle the inside of your tent will be completely wet before it’s even set up.
The material and fasteners are not the same quality as Coleman tents from even a few years ago.
Finally the poles are hard to figure out and there is no useful instructions that come with the tent.

We did a practice set up when this arrived and it took about 15 mins to complete with two of us. Easy to set up and take down. Great for everything except winter as the tend is very light weight and I feel would be cold. Lots of room inside and as advertised could fit 3 queen beds. Great tent for the price.

Great price and very spacious. I got my king size blow up mattress and still had tons of room. I love that the top comes off but still keeps the bugs out for star gazing at night. My kids love it!

Nice big tent. Plenty of room and easy to set up/take down. I believe Coleman makes a great product, however, the issue I’ve had with EVERY Coleman tent is their storage bag. You’d think they could make them slightly larger to make it easier to pack it back up. It’s incredibly difficult and usually takes a couple tries to get it to fit. I’ll be looking for a new storage bag. They have a little spot on the bottom to tear off and make bigger but that doesn’t work well – the design of the “extended space” is extremely poor.
Also of nite, one end if the poles is reattached to the tent. While this was convenient thus far, I hope it is Sturdy enough to stay this way. If they rip/detach, there will be no way to set up the tent.

Excellent tent! It unfortunately rained out whole camping trip, but we stayed dry in our tent. This tent is very easy to use, durable and top quality!

The tent was a good price and it was easy to set up with at least 2 people available. Have only used it once for a 4 night camping trip however the quality seems to be good and the tent was water resistant during a heavy Florida thunderstorm. Some of the cons are that the tent has poor ventilation with the rainfly on. The only part of the rainfly that can be rolled up is on the back however it is not practical to keep that part open as in the event of rain one would have to exit the tent to close the flap. Another thing to note is that this tent is described as an 8 person tent that fits 3 queen mattresses. In our experience we were able to fit 2 queen mattresses and had space in the middle for a small tv table in between and even that was a tight squeeze due to the dome shape. There is no way 3 queen mattresses would fit. We were able to accommodate 4 people only. I imagine if we had individual sleeping cots we may be able to fit more people but definitely not 8 adults. At most 5 if it’s three small children sharing a queen mattress.

I bought this tent and only used it ONCE for a camping trip. During the trip it rained, and my tent COMPLETELY COLLAPSED and FILLED with RAIN water. I mean over 100 GALLONS of rain water was sucked out of my tent with a vacuum! All of my items in the tent got wet including my generator, clothes, grey bath towel, air mattress, sheets, blanket, and sleeping bag. Literally EVERYTHING was wet. I went to bed freezing that night! I searched for months to find the perfect tent, and I thought this was it. Little did I know that a pop up tent would be my worst mistake. The corner pole bent at one of the connections when it fell, as you can see in the picture, and the water was sitting on it. We noticed that once we lifted the tent. I was so upset I almost gave up and went home. My friends and family helped me feel better, by helping me salvage what I could and we had to sleep in the van. I thought Coleman was a good brand, but I guess not for me. Pop up tents are not the way to go. They will collapse on you while everyone else’s tent around you will be standing tall. I would like a different tent, but I’m passed the return window since I bought the tent way before my camping trip. I don’t know what to do. This tent is ruined and I spent hundreds only to use it once! I need a new tent! HELP.

We camp a ton… We’ve had all kinds of tents. We’re usually fairly quick to get camp set up. This tent was new to us with the attached poles. It took us about 10 minutes and 3 attempts to put it up. It wasn’t hard we were just making it harder than necessary. It is easy to set up once you know how. It is very large and durable. We haven’t needed the rain fly yet. 3 trips in and we’re loving it!
