Just a short look at the instructions, then opened. Tent was done in under 2 minutes and closed within another 2 minutes. Also bigger as expected. Perfect!

Setup was exceptionally easy which I expected for a pop up tent. Packing back up is where I expected the usual challenges, wow is this tent easy to repack. The quality is incredible, it came with a custom ground cloth that snaps in on all four corners for a perfect fit. The tent pegs are great, very thin and strong. It has two huge doors for amazing entry/exit and ventilation. The tent is incredibly roomy. I keep finding new features I wasn’t expecting on a tent in this price class. If you want an ideal car camping tent, this tent certainly fits the bill.

Good customer service. Once we finally got the hang of securing the hydraulic mechanism it was super easy to set up!

Ordered this tent for my son to take on a 5 day camping trip.
**PROS**
First, let me say that it is SO easy to put up and take down. Neither he, nor, I had any issues putting the tent up. Set up was just a few minutes (and we’re slow). I did a test run before he left, and had no issues taking it down or repacking. My son did have issues, however…more on that below.
Second, it rained pretty hard several times throughout the trip. A LOT of his friends tents leaked, and their gear got soaked. He said that his tent was pretty waterproof, all of his stuff stayed dry. He thinks that there MAY have been some VERY SMALL leaks at the seams….I’ll be water sealing the seams shortly.
The tent is relatively lightweight. I wouldn’t want to take it backpacking, as the hydraulic mechanism on top does all som weight and bulkiness, but it’s pretty compact and works well for car camping.
***CONS***
Before I begin, let me say that the company sent an email requesting feedback on the tent, and after my initial email back, they have already responded that they are sending me a replacement, without being asked to do so….hey responded within a few hours, in fact. NO complaints about customer service…they have been great, thus far.
Again, I had no issues with taking and repacking the tent before his trip, but he did say that after he’s taken the tent down and was repacking it, he heard a “snap”. When we got it back home and unpacked, several of the support bars had disengaged from the hydraulic mechanism at the top of the mechanism. We were able to get them all back into their slots, but it was a bit tricky, and it appears that several of the “nubs” were either angled oddly or hanging haphazardly…didn’t appear to be “broken”, more like they weren’t ever bonded to the groove slots effectively from the get go. Anyway, as I said we were able to get them all back into their respective slots, after removing the legs from the rain fly feet (to allow for easier angling) and removing the small screw that attaches the smaller support brace from the large support beam (again, to allow for easier placement of each section back into the hydraulic mechanism), and then re-screwed the smaller brace back to the larger brace. Probably not the most efficient way to put the brackets back into the hydraulic mechanism slots, but it seemed to go faster than just trying to shove them back into their respective slots while connected. We were able to to take the tent down and repack, without issue, after reaffixing all the support legs.
Secondly, I did notice a small tear in the rain fly, around the area of one the joints of a cross bar…about the level of the top of the tent entrance. I just repaired using Tenacious Tape…not a deal breaker.
None of the above would keep me from repurchasing this tent again, if needed, for a second teenager to take on a camping trip. The easy setup, lightweight, and waterproofing outweighed having to reinstall the support brackets. I do question the durability of the tent, given the easy disconnect (but NOT BREAKAGE) of the support bars. Again, the seller volunteered to replace the item, so it seems they’re confident in their product…maybe this unit was just a dud.

Pros:
Very easy to assemble, takes only seconds to set up. Light weight, easy to carry around for a short trip. For a windy day, it’s a lot less painful to set up and take down than traditional tents. The fact the tarp can be attached/detached is a plus. Enough room for 2 adults with a queen mattress OR 3 adults with sleeping bags. Bringing in extra gears would be pushing it but as I said, it’s good for a short trip.
Cons:
The zippers were constantly stuck and felt cheaply made. I’m a bit worried if the zipper would break every time I use it. The “cover” for the tent would be slightly bigger, it’s so small and not really covering anything and almost got blown away at night so we had to take it down in the middle of the night. There’s only two openings/doors and no windows and the mesh on doors only goes half way. I would think it’s a great idea to have more windows or mesh openings but provide a separate rainfly with more coverage (basically a bigger cover to go below the mesh windows).
Overall, I think this is still a good deal. I bought the one for 2-4 adults but honestly, I think it’s only comfortable for 2, and maybe 3 people at most. The set up is amazingly easy and painless, if you’re looking for a convenient tent for a light trip (that’s not windy or rainy with a super storm), I would recommend this one.

The tent is awesome. Super easy to set up and set down. The poles are very sturdy, and so is the top spring mechanism. I gave durability a 4 because the zippers are good, just standard tent zippers, but not the best. Im going to lubricate them so they last as long as possible. Tent is very nice because of the easy detachable tarp, and detachable tent for the shade cover. Fits in original carry bag w/ handles very well, needs a little work to fit, could’ve been a little bit bigger bag for consumers convenience. It didnt rain on our 2 trips, so I cant say anything about the water proof, but Im sure it would do great in the rain. The tent came with a free lantern if you ask them, and it works perfect in the tent. Its a tiny 100 lumens lantern that matches the color of the tent (the green one), with a little handle for the hook on the ceiling. Gotta email them and ask I think.
