This is my first tent ever! Never thought I would own one….but I moved, needed extra storage and had to get “real creative” real fast. For someone who never owned, been in, or even touched a tent…this was an easy set up. This side wall was a little confusing, but my neighbors came over, when they saw what I was doing and was kind enough to help. It withstood a major storm and hight winds. I’m chilling in now as I write this review.

I purchased this tent through another website, but I’m going to leave a review here for those who might be interested in purchasing one. For the money this is a good buy, however, there are some things that you have to consider when setting this tent up. Make sure that you have all the extra materials that are need to make this a decent glamping tent for festivals and easy camping. Even though the floor of this tent is a real thick polyurethane plastic and is durable, you will still need to get a tarp to put underneath this tent. The set up of this tent can be a little tedious,make sure that you have enough room around you to stake this tent down with the Guide wires, making sure that everything is firm and tight. One of the features that I do not like about this tent is that it has a detachable floor, which,if it rains really hard, will leak in, that is why you need a bottom tarp for this tent, and also purchase an extra rain fly for the tent as well. it will help insulate this tent and keep you dry when the rain really gets going. I put waterproof taping along the zipper that detaches the floor from the top of the tent, and that fixed the leaking problem. For these types of glamping tents, it really is better to put it on a platform, but if you are going to put it on the ground, then have that bottom tarp and make sure that you’re in an area that is not next to any trenches and what not so that when it does rain water will not leak in. Overall, the tent is really good and can be an economical option when compared to the other tents like this that you can buy that are a lot more expensive and, quite honestly are a lot better quality, and do not have the same issues as this one does. Because this tent is mass produced, there is the chance that not all the materials will be included, which was the case with mine, but customer service with vevor, for me, was actually really good and they sent me extra stakes and guide wires. One more thing, that I will add here, is that you need to make sure that you keep this tent very clean when you put it away, otherwise mold and mildew will start to develop in the fabric and that will ruin your tent and make it smell not so great. So just be extra vigilant when breaking this tent down and putting it away, make sure it is clean and totally dry before you put it away.

First – Be aware that this is quite a heavy tent. I thought i was prepared for it, but it was even heavier than I was expecting. It’s great that it comes in separate bags (and I’ve got to say that the tool roll is a thing of beauty), but jut the tent itself is probably 45 of the 50lbs its listed at – and most of that weight is probably in the floor!
That said, this seems to be a well built tent. I wasn’t able to set it up ahead of time to check it out before my trip, but there were absolutely no issues with it once we got there. Neither of us had camped in a long time, and the instructions weren’t the best (for us, at least), but the setup was pretty simple – lay it out, stake the bottom, middle pole, door pole, and then place the ropes. I love that the tension in the ropes is adjustable, that the stakes seem to be of good quality, and they’ve even included a nice hammer.
I was actually hoping for a bit of rain to properly test it out, and we were greeted by a nice storm just after we got the camp set up, but the rain all went around us and we had a lovely dust storm instead. The wind was quite strong and the tent flapped a good bit from it, but that’s all.
Between the thickness of the bottom and the quality of the overall construction, I hope to get a lot of use out of this thing in the years to come.

This tent worked out great for us this summer. We didn’t try to put a wood stove in and won’t since the reviews say it’s not a good idea. But we didn’t need to anyways. It held up great in rain, wind and warm summer days. Roomy and bright, it was a great space for us.
We’ve taken it down and laid it out in a room to dry before replacing it for next summer. So we’ll see how it preserves over the winter. Hope to get more than one season out of it. So far so good!

It was experimenting with this brand or white duck and paying way too much for a bell tent, Let me say this right now, This is high quality stuff for being at a reasonable price I was surprised how well it was packaged and extra steal steaks in case you bend one or lose one. (They don’t bend) ropes are thick and tough, This tent I live in fulltime and it’s been 2 months had 35-40 mph winds and it didn’t do anything to the tent. It’s probably not fully waterproof, Id slap a 15m semi truck tarp over it if you plan on keeping it from molding/leaking, Also instead of buying expensive steaks to steak the tent down use the dog leash screw cork steaks they hold this tent down! You need like 10 of them but it’s worth it. Also I’ve read about the center post busting a hole through the top the tent after about a year so donwhat I did and just slip a fluffy thick beanie over it before you put the post up it’s kept my tent from getting damaged 😆 everyone got a beanie ..not everyone carries around thick rubber boots for tent poles..Anyways only complaint I have is the zippers. Ya zippers are future but they don’t last long after about a month my zipper broke and my tents setup right and everything so. I’d suggest they redesign the zipper on the tent use something else more traditional make the tent last way longer. Anyways beautiful tent. I’m super happy with it. Definitely cheaper then white duck. But material is thick and strong. I’d Definitely buy another one in future if my old one got torn up too bad. (Get a patch kit and sowing kit) for it if you plan on living in it for a couple years. 5m got plenty of room for 2 people or a single person and a dog you can still fit a decent sized bed in it and still have a lot of room. (Also don’t run the stove jack in this until you fire proof the side the stove comes out of) it’s a great tent. This company should consider making tipis as well they could probably make decent tipis as tents as well. 👍

Looks great for glam camping, questioning middle pole now on more detailed inspection. See video as I’m not sure if this is normal and not sure how noisy when it’s a windy day or strong enough to hold up tent.
