Camping in BellTent. Good height as we are seniors.

I purchased this cot/air mattress combo for an early bull elk hunt and I couldn’t have been happier. I spent seven (7) nights on it without an issue. The first night it was in the mid 30’s and being a brand new setup, when nature called at 2:30 AM I needed to pump it up a bit. The following nights it held up great! As a side note the friend I was helping out on this hunt is 83 years young and waited 24 years to draw his tag for the bull of a lifetime. We nicknamed him the mastodon for his greatness. An 8×6 with incredible mass and he was 8-10 years old weighing in at or near 1000 lbs. Getting a great night’s sleep was paramount in his success. Thank you Coleman for making such a great product via China?

We loved our new camping bed! Easy to set up, the pump with D batteries is too slow, we used a power blower to inflate quicker. The side tables are a great added extra.

This is the most AMAZING camping bed I’ve ever witnessed, and I’ve camped my entire life. Seriously.
I’ve backpacked. I’ve glamped. I’ve gone to music festivals, art festivals, burning man regionals… I’ve used/witnessed/borrowed/begged/not-quite-stolen everything under the sun/moon/stars. This beats all of them.
Why, you ask?
Not only is it up off of the ground, so my 36 year old disabled ass doesn’t have to cry every time I get in and out of my sleeping bag, my suitcase FITS UNDERNEATH THE BED. What?!?!?! Under bed storage. Bam!
Then, there’s the cot itself. Yeah, there’s a bar running down the middle. That’s for extra support. Not a huge deal for me, because I’m 5’4 and even though I weigh an impressive 213 for my height, I fit seamlessly into the little pocket between the rods. Mmmmmmnnnn… comfy. And all this is without even adding in the INCLUDED AIR MATTRESS.
WHAT?!?!?!??! There’s an included air mattress?????? Yep.
But… won’t that just fall off of the cot? Or Fail like Every Other Air Mattress and Ruin the Most Awesome Cot FOREVER??????
That’s where the Genius of Coleman comes in, kids. See, it’s not built in like some Cots with Air Mattresses you’ll see out there. Coleman did it the smart way. They added a pocket made out of super soft microfiber material that feels like your favorite Grandmammy’s sheets and zippers open to slide the PREMIUM COLEMAN AIR MATTRESS WITH DOUBLE AIR LOCK MAGICALNESS inside and then you ZIPPER IT SHUT AGAIN, keeping the double zippers close to the air lock just in case you’d like to, I don’t know, adjust the firmness of your mattress later on in your stay because IT DOES NOT LEAK (much) ((at least, not after the first night. that’s any mattress, though)).
But wait. There’s more.
HOW CAN THERE POSSIBLY BE MORE?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!
YOU’VE ALREADY GIVEN US SO MUCH, COLEMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MotherLoving Side Tables, Batman.
They snap on right where you want them. With holes for all of your beverage holding needs. And just enough room for a kindle, a phone, and an adult beverage. I would know. And you know what else I know? My survival kit slid Right Underneath the Table!
BAM!!
More floorspace!!
You have no idea how life changing this bed has been for me.
And I’ve only gotten to take it on one trip (so far). I’m taking it out again next week. I’m already excited about it.

The plastic mattress is noisy when turning or moving even with additional bedding but overall a great item. Easy and sturdy. The mattress doesn’t shift around.

Overall, I am really satisfied with this package. Here are my pros and cons:
Pros:
– easy to set up, you basically just unfold it.
– pump included, it is generic but works
– nice valve on the mattress, Coleman has these valves that close with a cap but also by popping the valve in which makes it easy to close while still pumping air in
– the mattress cover keeps the mattress in place
– you can store bins that are a foot tall under the cot to save space in a tent.
– Sturdy
– All fits into the case (you have to take the mattress out of the cover, but it all fits easy)
Cons:
– the mattress cover is sewn onto the cot fabric itself. I think you could remove the whole thing to wash it but it might be nice to have the mattress cover detach for easy washing. Though, this might make the mattress move on the cot more… I really don’t know.
– It is heavy (read product specs). This makes it very sturdy but you aren’t getting a lightweight cot
Also, I fit this (barely) into a 4 person tent that was 5 feet tall. There wasn’t a lot of spare space, but the whole thing is about 2 feet tall assembled, so it would work well in taller tents to save space and store stuff underneath. Just protect your tent floor! Very happy with the product

I camp… alot. Now that I’m retired I camp 3 or 4 months a year when the weather is tolerable. I have slept on an air mattress mostly, but they can be hard getting up and down. I also have a nice cot that I sometimes use, pretty comfy but very loud.
I just took a chance on this after a few uncomfortable nights and I am so glad I did.
It is just the exact size of a twin bed, so all my linens fit much better. By raising the bed, I could now store some items underneath, which is a big bonus in a tent. It was fast and easy to set up, every single thing is included, even a pump which uses 4 D batteries (not included).
To set it up you just unfold the metal frame, inflate the mattress, insert it into the zippered pocket on the frame and you’re done. Once the mattress is zipped in it is as stable as any bed in your house.
One thing I hadn’t appreciated was the effect of the air mattress with the cot. Since cots somewhat mold to your body adding an air mattress causes it to do the same. It sort of gently hugs around you like the seat of a sports car. Very nice for sleeping.
I also like that if your air mattress goes flat, you are still super comfy in a big cot. The air mattress is easily replaced and you are back to golden.
Negatives… this thing weighs as much as my tent ! It’s heavy, bulky, awkward , and I don’t even care. Worth it. Also, I wish it locked into place when folded out. If you move it around you have to be cautious with the legs. I saw a lot of complaints about how loud it was, but Coleman must have addressed this because mine was nearly silent.
I can’t imagine you would regret this purchase

This Coleman queen size cot folds up small but delivers big quality and design. The carry case is robust, stands upright and has wheels. Inflates quickly and the permanent cover keeps it in place. Paired with Easland extra large twin comforter is even better and protects the air mattress. Side tables are easy and useful.

This is a comfortable bed. I tried it out in my living room before taking it camping.
Coleman twin-size air bed cot.
To begin, there were no instructions – this was a problem because I didn’t know how to keep the legs from collapsing. After much trial and error I realized they do not lock and you have to watch how you position/move it. I can’t even describe how I got it to work!
The air mattress has an excellent valve for inflating and deflating. The best I’ve seen, not surprisingly Coleman. Air pump is included, that’s a plus, even though I already have three. The pumps invariably outlive the air mattresses.
The whole thing is hard to fold up with no idea how the frame should fold together. Again, instructions would have been nice.
It’s nearly impossible to get back in the bag, so I am packing the air mattress and pump separately.
Carry bag has a nice, reinforced bottom and two-way zipper. It’s heavy, but I think worth it for the comfort.
Bottom line: I am keeping the air bed despite it being extremely difficult to fold and load in the bag.
This is, by far, the longest review I have ever written!
