GCI Outdoor Slim-Fold Cook Station: Portable Kitchen Table

We have used this table on two camping trips now. It’s easy to set up and easy to clean; and sturdy enough to hold my heavy camp oven. There are nifty little extras, like a place to hang my garbage bag and a place to hang a wet dish cloth. I often use the slotted bottom rack, where I tend to leave my damp dish drainer and rinse bucket. The height is perfect for me, and even my tall husband doesn’t mind using one of the side racks when washing dishes. When it’s time to move to the next destination, the table collapses down and is easily stored in the aisle of our trailer. There’s literally nothing that I don’t like about it!

Ok so we all need a table of some type for cooking even if there is a picnic table there maybe. This thing has a surprising amount of shelf space and most of all folds up small for packing. Sturdy! Add a little garbage bag ring and you are good to go. Not to eat on. To cook and serve on.

I’ve used this twice for camping and I don’t know how I did without this. I like that it opens easily and has a lot of storage space. It is lightweight but is sturdy as long as you put it on a flat surface or put a shim under the stand so it doesn’t rock. This stand works great for our entertainment center, holding a tv, soundbar and beverages while camping as well. It folds up compact so it can be stored in the RV until our next trip. I am very happy with this product and would purchase again.

I use it for my non permanent set up on my attic’s open terrace with a go anywhere grill.

Perfect for a small group BBQ session.

The fold away tables are super useful to put you stuff on or hang things off and I like how my paper kitchen towels hang off the side.

When not BBQing I just fold it away and store flat in my store room.

The pros of this non perm set up vs a non portable grill or ketttle is that I get to clean up my grill (in a dishwasher) and table (in the shower) easily and store it totally clean without having to leave it out in the open.

This grill stand folds up and sets up with very little effort and no tools required. It is light enough for this out of shape 50 something woman to carry although it was purchased for my husband and made a great birthday gift. The center section accommodates our outdoor/rv grill almost perfectly and despite the front two legs hanging off about 3/4″, it is extremely stable. The shelves all operate independently so users can decide how many they want to extend, and while none of those will hold nearly as much weight as both of the center sections, they will definitely hold a pan of meat, condiments, tools, etc. I read “Lynda’s” review about using the art portfolio as a carrying bag and am happy to report that it does the job perfectly. And while the bag is a little wider than the opening to pass-through storage compartment on our 2018 Winnebago Minnie, the unused space in the bag folds in and allows us to slide it in easily. I am thrilled that the stand will be protected from damage as it rubs against all the other rv-ing paraphenalia stored there. This stand was a bit more expensive than some of the others that I looked at, but reviews on many of those indicated that set up was not simple and sometimes tools were needed and not all of the others had shelves that were nearly as versatile as these are.
