As the saying goes: it is so good it should be banned LOL
There is definitely a little learning curve, but nothing too hard.

The media could not be loaded.
Works as describe. Works well right out of the box. But works even better once you linked it to the app.
Maps come preloaded, not on SD card, although you need a new/blank 32Gb micro card to download software updates.
Linking the unit to the phone is a bit technical since you have to switch between the units Wi-Fi and your home WiFi while updating software. Sonar and charts work great.
Unit comes with removable base dock and sun cover. Installation was straight forward, mount sensor, feed wires, install brackets and connect to power, after this, download app and update software, then make it your own by customizing layout and colors.
See what you’ve only imagined was under water.

I have been very impressed with the Garmin ECHOMAP UHD2 95sv with GT56 Tranducer. The large screen size is really nice to have, especially in setting up your dashboard to show multiple options (sideview, chartplotter, and sonar).
Installation was very straightforward, and I was able to start using the unit straight out of the box (didn’t have to mess with any settings right off the bat). Now that I have used it more, I have customized the settings a bit to my liking/use. I was very impressed that the sideview mode showed a sunken canoe on the bottom of the first lake I tried it on, within the first 5 minutes of unloading the boat. Clear image of the bottom, and helps you get on the fish more efficiently. A real game changer!
I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this setup, and glad I decided to install it on my fishing boat.

no issues. works great

I purchased this GPS unit in good faith. I paid them upfront when I had an issue with the Wi-Fi connectivity on three separate power sources I contacted them.. I have no resolution on the problem, so I elected to send it back to them for a full refund. They’ve only given me a partial refund and hit me up with a large restocking fee for defective. Unit will not purchased any more products from the seller.

These new uhd2 versions are a night and day difference compared to old uhd. Side imaging resolution is so much better and scans at a longer distance. Can actually now see the difference between bottom structures.
Not user friendly. Garmin very difficult to work with. They have layered accessing services and products, which makes it extremely difficult for the customer. –
Garmin is difficult to deal with. They force me to watch videos and download apps but still have issues benefiting from its service and products. SD card reader is not working for me.

Bewell Life –
Works great, easy to install and use. Looking back I would’ve saved the money and bought the old 93sv.
Shore Outdoors –
Works great. Clear screen, easy to use. Comes with flush mount option, which gives it a nice clean look.
