Okay, I got this on sale for around $15 and I have to say, for that price this little tool is amazing. I have several expensive Leatherman brand multi tools so I know quality when I see it and this one really does not disappoint. Very functional features and the build quality is way better than I expected. I really thought I was going to end up with some Chinese junk metal and so far, that is not the case. Everything is machined nice, the tools deploy as expected and I love the fact that, except the bit driver, they all lock opened. For $15 or even $20, you would be crazy not to buy one or more. There are several brands out there that look the same and they are probably all made in the same plant, but this one had the best price and the fastest shipping.
Now all I need to do is convince my wife I need more than one.😬

I have always been on the look out for useful EDC knives with useful tools. I was excited to see the Mossy Oak 12 in 1 multi-tool and picked one up from Amazon Store. The tool has a really good knife blade of just under 3″ long and 2.5mm thick that comes really sharp. The blade is one hand opening and has a liner lock. Next there is a pair of scissors that also lock in place. the cutting edges are 25mm, Tries them our and they cur string aan packaging just fine. It has a heavy duty bit holder and Philips / Flat driver bit.Tou also some regular tools such as can opener, cap lifter, awl and larger screw driver / pry tool. Construction is all Stainless Steel and it is very well made. My only gripe is that you can not easily remove the belt clip, the screw is very tight and I didn’t want to strip the thread. Last ofall it is at a great price around $16!

Can’t beat the value and quality of this tool for the price. It’s a dense little package but there’s a lot of useful tools crammed in this multitool, the only multitool that I think is better is the Skeletool made by Leatherman just because of the inclusion of pliers and the lighter weight and pocket feel but at a fifth of the price it’s really no competition especially if you lose knives like me. The knife was really a stand out and all the tools excluding the screwdriver are locking tools! The screwdriver is also full 1/4” drive which is a huge advantage and the double ended ball detent bits from a Klein screwdriver fit perfect in the tool. This would be a great gift for yourself or anyone else.

This tool is a very good value for the money. Came out of the box with a decent sharpness on the knife and other instruments. Is relatively light weight for its size and tool complement. Blade an sissors like in place. Screwdriver is nice although I find it strange it comes with a Phillips #1 / 3/16 slotted bit. A majority of screws are Phillips #2. No problem, picked up another small bit set that lives in the pocket to work around this. Makes this a vary functional / capable tool overall. A surprise hit. The only downside is that the material is probably a little on the soft side since it is not mentioned in the listing.

Let’s be honest. This is kind of a shameless modification to an already existing, popular tool. But honestly, it does works pretty well and at least has a couple of unique features. It keeps the tools I find important while dropping things like pliers and a wood saw for when I want a really compact package.
The knife seems to be of a decent steel and came pretty sharp out of the box. I cut enough stuff to establish it’s not some kind of super low grade mystery steel without a heat treat. It’s not amazing steel, but it’s decent, and it only takes a few seconds on a ceramic rod to get it back to paper-cutting sharp.
My big qualm with the knife is that it is decently hard to deploy. You kind of have to use your thumb to fit into a beveled, metal hole and lift the knife out. This isn’t the most comfortable thing ever. This is kind of where I wish they deviated from their obvious inspiration and maybe put in a thumb stud or something instead.
The other tools, however, deploy beautifully and with minimum effort, and the screwdriver, while not locking, deploys with a very satisfying click. The arguably biggest plus of this tool is that it takes universal bits and not the annoying proprietary and expensive Leatherman ones that, well, Leathermans use.
This is a bit of a nitpick, but the included removable, reversible screwdriver bit is a Phillips #1 and a slotted one, but I think this is a dumb decision. The tool already has several built-in slotted screwdrivers as part of the other tools, and it would have been way more useful to have a Phillips #1 and #2 on the removable bit. The bit having a slotted screwdriver is just so redundant since it’s already part of the tool. It also does not come with extra bits. This is a bit disappointing as the Phillips #2 is extremely common.
I honestly thought the scissors were broken until I figure out that they’re kind of quirky to deploy.
In summary, it’s a pretty decent and affordable tool, although it’s certainly lacking in the creativity department, but I do like the slight modifications they made even if I think there is some room for improvement.
Private –
Great little knife. Much more useful than any regular knife yet its still small. Razor sharp out of the box, skizzers work awesome. Just needs a file added somehow without taking any of the other tools away (maybe next to the skizzers) and it would be close as you’re going to get to a tough version of a swiss army knife in a small form factor with all the tools you really need.

I was looking for a multi tool with no pliers and had a few options. This was ok, but opening the tools was very tough and the scissors were just so-so.
Note that Mossy Oak is the brand, it is not necessarily the same tool as a another brand that looks similar and is only a bit more expensive.
