Received this last week. Nicely packaged with no damage as received and is a sturdy little machine. Pretty easy to assemble but a few of the directions did have me wondering what to do for a few extra minutes; and I think I did not tighten the “wheel to frame” enough. Tool kit of allen wrenches is good–you may want a real open end wrench to use in place of the flat metal open end wrench. Took a few short rides just for fun. But the big test was yesterday–took out for 30 minutes on our neighborhood streets. Here are the observations: 1) very noisy 2) got home and my shirt was covered with black particles from the front brake degrading–also breathed it too. 3) my butt was really sore–that is a hard seat. But a fun ride altogether–dogs noticed for sure as I went by, making a lot of noise. I hit 17 mph on downhill. So today I made some changes: 1) made sure the front “wheel to frame” was as tight as could be, still allowing freedome to turn–no looseness there. That seems to have made it quieter in a few short rides. 2) removed a rear wheel–plastic junk is floating in the wheel but no way to remove it. 3) readjusted the brakes to be lower on the rims and with a small amount of clearance. But still smells like rubber burning when I apply the brakes and particles were on my shirt. After that the trike seems quieter in short rides. BTW, I’m a fun loving senior adult (150 pounds who has wanted a big wheel to ride in retirement). At 5-8 I found the closer seat position to give me good leverage on the peddles. All I need to do now is find a pad to sit on and I’ll be out for another 30 minute ride and good exercise. I am interested to see how the rear plastic wheels hold up. I expect to change the brake pads as part of normal wear and tear. Bearings looked good on the wheels and the head piece.

Took a while to build on my own. I wish the breaks were the kind you petal backwards to stop instead of hand but meh. The back wheels are weird-I have no interest in drifting just wanted to relive my youth with a big wheel. I guess you can change the back wheels to be actual wheels which I’ll do because it’s loud as @*

I got one for my kid too. Super fun and really good materials.

This is lengethy but detailed especially if you are a larger person like 6’4+.

I always wanted and adult big wheel and with this Razor DXT I can finally ride one!!!

This big wheel/drift bike rules!! I am 6’9 and weight approx 295lbs. After adjusting the seat all the way back (and I mean all the way back right now only 2 bolts are holding the seat on but I can fit on it with the recommended seat spacing) and after switching up the handle bars to something that sits a little higher to accommodate my leg room, (still a little crammed) but compared to the High Roller priced at $800+ USD plus international shipping you honestly can’t beat it.

Took it out for a 2 hour ride the other night so far so good everything is still intact and I ride hard. I have only had it for 3 days so who knows what the longevity is like for something raided for a max cap of 200lbs and with me being 90lbs over the capacity. It’s honestly really well built for something made by a company known for kick scooters made for kids.

Super easy to put together, it comes in like 3-4 pieces and all you need is a wrench and an alan key (which comes with it) to assemble it, took me 20mins from unboxing to riding it.

I am probably gonna switch out the handle bars for something that sits a little higher (chop it/rat rod it out) and probably gonna switch the plastic rear wheels for dolly or wheel barrel wheels or for rubber go kart wheels for a smoother ride and so it’s not so noisey (for a big person like me it’s a loud annoying sound).

Like I said only 3 days in and after 5 hours total of hard heavy riding on pavement and ashfault, it’s pretty solid and at the price and the fast shipping it’s gonna be really hard to beat it.

Enjoy and have fun, it’s a blast!

Anyone currently pregnant needs to get this bike! The only bike that I can ride! No pressure on the pelvis! No issues with the sturdiness! The brakes are crap but if you know how to tighten them with a YouTube video you’ll be fine! The value is beyond what I expected! It’s lasted this long! (3 years) the back tires are still good and trust me we’ve had a lot of the neighborhood kids try to ride it besides my husband and I! The seat is sturdy and we can crank out really really fast speeds! Get one… actually buy two! It’s totally worth it!!!

The media could not be loaded.

Built very well and so much fun!!! Weak spot is only the cheap blown plastic tires…But if you see our video, you’ll see we had them fitted with 10 inch PVC Sleeves from a great seller on etsy. You will have to grind off some plastic to get them to fit, but you’ll drift better and get a lot longer wear from the pvc sleeves. You gotta get one of these!!

**UPDATE** Couple of months later….we’ve logged almost 75 miles on these things…We absolutely love them!! Another weak spot though…brake pads wear out too fast and need a lot of adjusting. Brake itself could be better too! Next year’s upgrade lol. Take a look at a shot I added. Big wheels are now fully geeked out on what is probably our last ride of the season 🙁. Side view mirror, Bell, and front pannier added. All purchased right here on Amazon!

A little surprised there aren’t already reviews of this product here, so here’s mine.

My amazing wife bought this for me for my birthday. My wife loves me. She knows how much I miss those childhood days of riding around in a Big Wheel(tm). I reminisced a lot while putting together our daughter’s new Big Wheel(tm).

Lo and behold, someone makes a Big Wheel(tm) that even adults can ride! Now I can go riding right along with my daughter, pulling off the same fun stunts… and then some!

First and foremost, this thing is QUALITY! Smooth bearings, great welds, fantastic paint job, and very solid overall. My tools slipped a couple times while putting it together, and there wasn’t any mark on the paint as a result. I’m really impressed. Speaking of tools, most of the ones you’ll need are included, minus one wrench for 10mm bolts. I’m an avid cyclist, I’ve bought brand new high-end bikes and built my own from scratch using expensive components, and the quality of this little trike really amazed me. I had it all put together in less than 30 minutes without ever looking at the instructions. Mind you, I did put the rear end on upside down 🙂 But I caught that mistake before taking it out for its first spin.

And I do mean SPIN! After the initial period getting used to the dynamics of fighting my pedaling feet with my arms, I was able to take off down the driveway at frightening speed, turn the handlebars… and skid into a U-turn before I realized what was happening! WHAT A THRILL!!! I repeated this feat over and over again, and it didn’t get old. Then, despite the fact that it was 9:30pm, pitch black outside and cold (December in Vermont), I decided to take the trike for a ride around the block.

And this is where the trike truly shined… and where I struggled a bit. Just cruising down the road was easy enough, although it’s a bit of a workout for both the legs and the arms. Going downhill is where this trike really comes into its own. It takes very little pedaling to keep the speed up, and it’s super easy to toss the rear end into a long, controlled skid around bends. The front tire is very grippy, which lends a lot of control. As long as you’ve got the front wheel pointed where you want to go, the rest of the trike *should* follow. Just keep in mind you’re occupying a lot of space when you’re sliding.

Going uphill is a different story. That’s just a lot of hard pedaling and straining of the arms. Getting any kind of speed takes a lot of effort, and there really isn’t much you can do as far as stunts. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a fun ride. But after the thrills of the downhills, the uphills by comparison feel like a bit of a… downer (pun intended).

Now for the best part… I got this for my 39th birthday. I’m 6’1″ tall and weigh just over 220 pounds. I thought my Big Wheel(tm) days were 30 years gone, yet here I am loving it all over again.
