This brand of helmet is a lot closer to the correct size. It’s sharp looking, light, comfy (as comfy as you can get with a helmet I guess) and had a flip down sun visor so I don’t have to bring 2 different kinds of glasses for the time of day! I like this helmet.

J’ai mesuré mon tour de crâne qui est de 56,5 cm de circonférence, et même la taille XL (qui est donnée selon le fabricant pour du 61-62cm) m’écrase les maxillaires et le front, me provoquant la nausée. N’ayant pas une grosse tête, mais une grosse mâchoire, ça vient peut-être en partie de là. Sinon ce casque est très bien : prix imbattable, bonnes finitions, double visière anti-UV rabatable, mousses détachables… bref à vous de voir.

after reading all the reviews on this helmet I went ahead and purchased it cuz I needed a full coverage helmet…
the reviews that state there is a ridge in the forehead area are correct there is… it can be mitigated by pulling the inner lining down just a bit or placing a pad there which I may or may not do as it doesn’t bother me that much as of yet
I ordered a size up and I’m glad I did I suggest if you are considering purchasing this and are on the close end of the upper size limit …..size up

this is a good helmet at a great price…. shameless plug to follow …as a former MSF Instructor… I will never ride a motor without a helmet… any motor I even wear a helmet was on my scooter riding about town

Needed a helmet for my moped, found this just because of price, fits well like the overall cover of the head and the windshield fold down on the helmet is nice, feels secured, so far it’s just to have on when I’m driving, god forbid I get in an accident, I don’t know the extent of strength for helmet I’m not trying to hit a wall to test it. The durability is strong I was driving down the road I wasn’t wearing the helmet, I had it strapped on the side but when I was driving it fell off and scraped on the road, I was going 60mph turn around to pick it up and it held together just have scrapes on it from the friction of the road but not cracked or broken so still good.

No complaints. My first helmet, so I can’t compare it to others. Seems like high quality. Feels very comfortable on my head. I love the tinted viser that pops down with a small switch. Matches my new bike. The many vents it has work well when actually riding. And it has a quick release on the chin strap. It comes with some reflective stickers, a soft glasses type rag it wipe it down, as well as a soft bag to store it.

A normal ride for me is 3 hours in the saddle. A long day is 400-500 miles. This review may not apply if you are just tooling around town on your motorcycle. I also have to say I bought this helmet for $30, not the $69 that it’s listed at now. Also, I’ve never owned a $400 helmet… maybe they are magical and silent, I wouldn’t know.
The Good – It’s a helmet and it’s cheap. I don’t think it’s too loud, but I have a windshield. It’s not silent but it’s normal. I got the XX-Large and it fits me. I think they run a bit small. The quick disconnect is convenient. The availability of replacement shields is great. The shield is crystal clear I’m regularly reaching to pull the shield down when it’s already down. It’s like it isn’t there. The shield clicks firmly and feels secure.
The sun visor is OK. I think it’s a bit too dark and comes down a bit too far, but it’s not terrible. I tend to wear my helmet low in the front. When I push the chin up to a “normal” position the visor doesn’t touch my nose. It seems to work OK.
Now the problem (at least if you wear it for more than 90 minutes). The hard foam under the forehead band has a sharp edge on it. The foam padding is insufficient. After 90 minutes I got a hot spot on my forehead that was painful. I ride long distances and this won’t work.
I modified my helmet by pulling the padding away, then pulling the plastic cover off the foam padding. It is held on with a bead of what looks like hot glue. I then used my thumb to press the sharp edge out, making a more rounded edge on the white foam. I also pulled that bead of hot glue off the foam entirely. It might be what caused me to feel the sharp edge. The helmet works fine without it. I rode for 4.5 hours after the modification and it was perfectly comfortable.
Conclusion: With modification listed above this is as good a helmet for me as any other. The price is right compared to many helmets. And the modification is easy to do.
