in the past we have used a CO2 cartridge delivery system that you had to put the cartridge into the device, it only would take the one size, it often would discharge before you could fully fill up the tire. This is so much simpler, easy to apply, easy to regulate the flow, and you can use different size cartridges. We have put in air in the tire and shut it off and gone back a few days later and there is still pressure available for another round of inflating a tire.

The first bike ride the day after I received the Lezyne adapter the cycling gods struck and I got a flat. The roadside repair went quickly, the adapter was easy/straightforward to use. This was my first time using a c02 cartridge so I was a little apprehensive, however just ensured the adapter control was closed, the adapter screwed onto cartridge completely, the adapter seated snugly atop the valve and slowly turned the control to release the c02 into the tube and voila !
So much easier that using a pump and great to be able to fully inflate my road tire(s) at the roadside. I will still be carrying a pump for that day when the cycling gods are really angry and I run out of cartridges (I plan to pack 2 cartridges).
The Lezyne adapter appears to be well made and is really compact and easily carried in my under-seat cycle pack. The sleeve for the c02 cartridge is a snug fit but worked a charm, no frostbite. All in all a great option for getting back up and riding quickly at full pressure.
I will update the review if I run into any issues with the durability etc. of the adapter.

Having scoffed at the price of these, I’ve tried like 3 other CO2 inflators in my bike bag. This is the first one that actually works reliably. I had a puncture on my last ride, the convenience of being able to thread the CO2, then seat on the valve stem, then open the valve is perfect. I also found it easier to set the pressure without dumping the whole CO2 into the tube. I closed the valve and finished the rest of the ride and then let the remaining out at the car (so the valve/seals) seem to be good too. Would 100% purchase again.

Used it to seat a tire to try it out. It is quick easy to use and effective. Nice to control the CO2 flow. It gets a little chilly but not the end of the world.

Solid little air chuck. I like the control drive but I don’t like that you have to hold it in place on the valve while you inflate. I wish I would have purchased the Lezyne trigger Drive as it has the threaded housing to thread onto presta and a header valves.

Lezyne makes good stuff, and this inflator is no exception. It’s tiny and lightweight at less than 30 grams, but it features an easy to use rotary control valve to regulate delivery. This is an important feature, as I like to add just a few pounds of pressure initially, check that the tire is properly seated on the rim, then open the valve fully to quickly inflate the tire.
The valve head seals easily over a presta valve, no leakage. This is the one to buy.

I had a flat on a ride and my inflator failed. Cost me a co2 cartridge. Borrowed my friend’s Lezyne inflator and it was the most controlled inflator I have ever used. No leaks, valve shut off completely. Highly recommend this unit.

Excellent product. Simple but with great build quality, it feels like something you can rely on when you hold it. I like that it uses a very compact but tactile pressure control dial and is slip on for the tire valve. One recent review complained about the logo in the control dial being confusing… Not to sound condescending but that’s outlandish. The logo is a teardrop on the face of the control knob. Tightening , or turning in the direction of the narrow side, reduces/stops flow… Indicated by the narrowing to nothing shape. Loosening starts/increases flow, indicated by the wide open high flow looking shape. If they put “on off” as suggested, it would be a far less accurate label since it’s not just
an on/off valve… the logo brilliantly indicates that the pressure can be controlled on a gradient. Don’t blame Lezyne for incompetence.
