Came quick. Easy to install. Perfect for the types of bikes we have. It is a bit cumbersome when using the camera to back up but is not as bad as other models. Not too difficult to lock in place or switch it into the upright position. It is quite heavy but you can tell it is good quality.

We wanted a bike rack that was short to protect the bikes from rubbing each other. This rack does that plus it is good for more than one size tire if you have a different kind of bike other than the fact that it is very heavy and very big. It goes on the vehicle relatively easy, the bikes go on relatively easy, and it secures the bikes well enough to feel confident on the road. If we need to get into the back of the vehicle, it tilts down to allow us access .

Got the 2” hitch to accommodate two mountain bikes on an SUV. If one is reasonably handy, installation is straightforward and best done on the car itself. The tricks are (1) lube the screws with soap or bicycle grease and 2) don’t tighten the crossbar screws all the way until you have put your bikes on the rack and determined the optimal positioning. The wordless instructions are mystifying but there are good Samaritan videos on YouTube. It’s a nice touch that in the lowered position, even with bikes mounted, the suv rear hatch can be opened.

Acostumbrado al tirón para jalar una lancha de 23 pies, el sistema de acoplamiento se ve inicialmente muy frágil. Ya colocado en orificio de 2.5 de distancia aprecio mucho brincoteo( el i atractivo menciona que se recomienda solo para dos bicicletas, hice otro orificio en el tirón de acuerdo al i structivo para 4 bicicletas, da más seguridad. He visto otros y funcionan muy bien así que habrá que experimentar. Fuera de esta apreciación personal todo oerfecto

I bought this rack after I got my second mountain e-bike. It is built very strong and carries both e-bikes with the batteries still mounted on them. The locking cable could be longer to go through the bike frame and even with the wheels which are close together,rolling it is a challenge from keeping it on both wheels and not falling to the side. I do love the hitch lock and how easy it works.

I bought this rack based on user reviews for ease of use and quality of components. Assembly was straightforward but requires patience especially when mounting the trays to the rack body. Hardest part is adding the extension so that it is a 4 bike rack. The metal posts fit so tightly that they require lithium grease to slide the extension into the frame. To remove the extension, I need to use a spreader bar. All of this loosened up over several installs and removals but the first couple times were difficult. Otherwise, it’s a great rack. Fits all 4 of the family bikes including my 29” and my son’s 20” without any adapters or special parts. Solid mounts ensure a clean drive to your destination and the bikes can be secured with cable locks. The rack itself can be locked into your hitch receiver so no one can take it.

I had a cheaper 2 back rack, and saw this one on a truck and immediatly knew I had to order it. It is rock solid and easy to use. Best bike rack I have had. I added a light kit to it for brake and blinkers.

Great bike rack, plenty of clearance. I have 27.5 x 4.5 tires on one bike and 27.5 x 2.8 on the other and both fit. rack tilts down to open my back door(hyundai sante fe) without issue while bikes are loaded. no wobble once you tighten the rack on the hitch. ensure you use the larger hole in your hitch if you have two. bikes lock on the rack and take about 1 minute to load and lock. Rack locks to your hitch, and locks bikes without needing to buys anything else. Super easy to put together. amazing rack all around.
Edit: after 3 years I have little to complain about, use it almost everyday. I leave it on all year round for the fatbike and the rack gets splashed with lots of salt. Recently had to replace the rivets holding the latch mech together. It’s back working great.

Ordered the bike rack and came missing some parts. Called Thule customer service and they said they’ll shipped the missing parts. Later I found out my address was noted wrong on their end with multiple typos. Called CS again and they said they’ll resend it if I don’t receive it. If you ever need to contact their customer service, make sure you check and reconfirm every detail. They are pretty nice and friendly, but a bit careless. Overall the bike rack itself is great. It is nice and sturdy but will block your license plate like other users said. I install it by watching YouTube clips. Great buy.
