This bike stand is easy to assemble and works surprisingly well, despite not being particularly heavy. I have found it has been useful keeping bikes upright in the garage as well as just standing in the backyard in the elements and has not toppled yet in either setting. This rack is not cheap, but it is a reasonable price for the convenience and effectiness of protecting your expensive bikes from toppling over and experiencing much more pricey damage. Works well.

COMMENTS: I got the two bike kit. It comes with everything needed to assemble and then some (extra bolts and ‘pulleys’). Assembly is a piece of cake; every piece is clearly marked and the instructions clear. I think this bike rack is great to store two bikes in a garage or hallway. As long as there are no external forces in play, the bikes stay upright and in place. Also, the rack doesn’t waste space, only the two lateral tubes (they are hollow) making contact with the floor. The vertical pulley slips down the bars to span the tire and must be locked in place by turning thumbscrews. However, they are located so close to the pulley that one can only use a finger and thumb (think tuning a radio in the old days), so it is difficult to exert sufficient force to tighten them down. I pulled them in favor of allen screws and just carry an Y-allen wrench in my bike pack. Makes it easy to spin down to tighten. The pulley clamp that broke had a thumb screw, but I have no idea when or how it broke.
I bought this because it looked sturdy enough in the pictures to perhaps use in the truck bed (along with strapping) to transport my kids traditional bikes (our e-bikes ride on a hitch twin-rack) since they are challenging to fit in the short bed of my truck. I had high hopes given the rest pads and steel construction. However, the tubes are hollow and walls not that thick, so any contortions from the road or any tipping force (e.g. wind), would cause the frame of the rack to bend. I realize this was not the intended purpose of the stand and will not make any deductions as a result of this attempted use, but it does illustrate that the tubes are a bit thin.

IS IT WORTH IT?: Not in my mind. My twin storage was ~$85. Though it is a clever design, I would expect stronger steel and plastic pulleys for that price.

RECOMMENDATION: Decent for storage where it will not get bumped around a lot. I’d shop around before buying, but can recommend this for isolated storage.

I was constantly mentioning to my son that he needed to put his bike back somewhere out of the way of where we needed to park in the garage. This rack has established a space for him to put it so it was correctly placed. Now, it’s easy for him to know where to put his bike so it’s out of the way without question. We are all loving the fact that his bike won’t get knocked over or damaged and it has a place to be stored safely and easily.

Unlike some other bike floor stands I have tried, this one actually does what it is supposed to. My gravel bikes feel very secure in this stand and I do not have any anxiety about them falling over.
I recommend avoiding bike stands that have a design focused more on being compact than a bike stand. This bike stand doesn’t fold, but it doesn’t take up a ton of space. Most importantly it functions at holding the bike up.
