This PFD is comfortable for all day wear. I keep forgetting I’m wearing it. I haven’t jumped in the water to test it yet, however. The pockets hold my reading glasses and my VHF emergency radio. The antenna sticks out but doesn’t get in the way.

the deluxe is worth the few dollars more. pockets are forward and dont interfere with arms/paddle swing. great design. subdued colors help avoid so much heat in the sun.

Bought this to replace a 20-year-old Stormy Seas vest. Works great for a seaplane — not too bulky, fairly comfortable, and easy to convert to manual inflate (necessity for seaplanes)

it is coast gard approved and the pockets are 6″-8″-7″-1 1/2″ , it is a amazing life jacket, but is not to be used for tubing!

I’m really happy with this PFD. I tested the auto inflate and manual inflate and both worked perfectly! You must dry out the area where the dissolving disc goes before re-arming it though.
I used a 24oz CO2 cartridge I got from the local Big 5 for the manual test. When inflated, I jumped into the pool head-first and came up with my head up and out of the water 10 out of 10 times – my Level III PFD only did 4 out of 10 times. It stayed fully inflated for over 24 hours each time we inflated it. The oral inflation tube fills it quickly, about 9-10 breaths.
It is comfortable and the small pockets are lined a with soft material, perfect for glasses. It has enough room to store an emergency light next to the oral inflation tube.
There is no D ring on the harness, but don’t need one.
I would definitely buy this one again.

I KNOW, when I ordered this, it said “pink,” what I got was marron, with a gray background…now the description says “gray.” I purposely bought this for the color….so it would be bright..
