Bought those amazing snowshoe for my boyfriend as a gift. He is 160 lbs I took 30″ and I’m 135lbs took 25″. We did two days of snowshoeing in a lot of snow and worked perfectly. The straps are super easy to set up. Really works great. Would recommend.

I’m in heavy snow country and when you’re trying to walk through four feet of fresh snow it’s a must to have Snow Shoes. These are light weight made of aluminum. Bottom has great ice cleats, upper is a poly fabric. Easy to put on your boots, very secure. Great buy.

The spikes did get filled with icy snow, but I never slipped. I went about 2 miles on a mountain hike in fresh powder snow I think was 4-10 inches deep, depending on the amount of tree shadowing on my path. I mostly floated and never really sank, and walking still felt pretty natural. I had to be conscious to put more wroght on the outside of my foot to keep them level. I liked the quick release rachet straps. I only docked a star because on steeper terrain I worry about the crampon spikes being clogged, as was the metal on the upper surface where your boots contact the snowshoe -might lose traction. I didn’t slip but feel they wouldn’t work right in extreme terrain conditions (ie. Hesitant to take up Mount Whitney in wintertime). Still, these were easy to use on a mountain trail and did well. I’m excited to use these again. I’m 145 lbs on the 25 inch snowshoes.

I have personally used these twice with no issue. However, we had another gentlemen wear a pair, went for a walk with his wife and a bolt snapped off on the bottom causing one of the straps to no longer be usable. The price is right for the product, however I don’t know as of yet about how durable this style/product truly is.

I’ve only used these twice but think they are very easy to put on and walk in. I was looking for something for a beginner and these are just perfect. I do wish the manufacturer would include a picture or instructions about how they are to be worn. In the photo on Amazon it looks like the ratchets go on the outside of the foot, but in the video that is included it looks like the ratchet goes on the inside of the foot. As there is no marked left or right it’s possible it doesn’t matter, but I would think one-way would be better to wear than the other. For beginners a little extra information would be helpful. Overall perfect for what I wanted.

For the low price paid these are fine for recreational off trail snow hikes. It’s all about the bindings. These are okay, plastic ratchets work but prone to wear out if doing heavy duty daily. Occasional use they get job done.
Snow shoe hiking is super fun especially with thermos of hot elixir blanket and Sturdybac chair and backpack. Don’t be cooped up explore the winter.

I haven’t been on snowshoes since 1996 and then only once. easy to add and remove; immediately walking with no issues, didn’t have to adjust the straps (4 hr walk), surfaces were packed snow and powered fresh snow, deep snow with crust, flat and slight hills. I do recommend using with hiking poles but that might only be because we always walk with them.

These are easy to adjust, stay in place pretty well and have survive three hikes so far. Sizing on all snowshoes seems to avoid accounting for snow conditions. These are okay for old snow but sized too small for fresh powder.

Worked well in Adirondacks in 3 ft of snow when hunting with our dogs. We use them for a week out of the year, and i have no complaints. I didnt want to spend tons on them, and these fit the bill perfectly

I got these to help with traversing through the snow while summiting Long’s Peak in Co. Worth the low cost. I was amazed at how well they fit my Columbia hiking boots and were easy to put on and take off. It handled a decent incline and the heel stands were awesome, reducing fatigue and stress on my ankles while at an incline. They come with an ok carrying bag, maybe take some velcro straps to bind them together when hooking it on your hiking pack. Very light and good quality.

Used for two seasons now and is holding up. They are fairly easy to get on and off, however the strap is too long and wraps under your boot which can be challenging.
