Arrived well packaged with no damage.
This tackle box is big and heavy so it wouldn’t be something that I would canoe with or carry for miles.
The 7 trays make a grab and go prefect. A well thought out tackle box.
The hinges are plastic so some care is required.
Happy with the purchase

I picked this up to replace an older tackle/storage box that I’ve been using to organize tools and parts for r/c cars. I race competitively almost every weekend and having a good, organized box for tools and parts is pretty important when making changes to your cars in between races. My old box served me well but the plastics were becoming brittle and the hinges were breaking so it was time for an upgrade.
Overall, I really like this box. It has a lot more storage than my old box and really isn’t that much larger. My old box was a four-drawer with a large top compartment. This one has 7 drawers, several top compartments, and a rear cargo pouch. I moved all my parts and tools over from the old box to the new one and had 2 drawers left empty! The drawers are nice, well constructed and the compartments have good room. The whole box seems very well constructed and I can’t see any problems with its strength or durability.
I do have a few small complaints, though. Firstly the top drawer sits on it’s own “rack” and it will stay there even if you remove the drawers under it. The 3 drawers under it DO NOT have their own racks and if you want to get to the bottom one the weight of the other 2 are sitting on top of it. They bottom 3 drawers all just sit on top of each other. It would be nice if each drawer had it’s own rack it slid into. Secondly, it’s just a minor annoyance but some of the drawers are taller or narrower than others so they use different sized dividers. Speaking of dividers – you will need to cut them all apart. They come as 5 or 6 dividers molded together with “flashing” on them. They need to be cut and trimmed to fit. It was just a little annoying to spend 20 minutes cutting all my dividers apart.
Otherwise this is a fantastic box and I really like the fact that it isn’t completely a “tackle box”. A lot of storage boxes like this seem to be geared towards fisherman (nothing wrong with that) but I don’t need special tackle holders and other fishing features since I just want a portable organizer. The drawers are high quality and once they’re snapped closed each compartment really seals off well. Some compartments I keep little tiny washers (0.10″) in and even if I shake the drawer around the washers stay in their own compartment. TL;DR: I like it, but I wish the drawers had their own racks.

Stores all my lures and fishing gear and still works well after years of use.

I liked the organization this tackle box provides. It has space for 4 fairly large clear plastic tackle boxes and 3-4 smaller ones plus space to carry pliers, tippet, etc. mine has a separate box for my musky, bass and pike, and trout flies (for me)and one for lures ( for my grand kids)

Have been using it on the Tracker for a few weeks now. Seems sturdy enough. It is nice to finally have all my tools and lures organized .

Looks great, sturdy, functional, everything you need in a fishing box

My only regret is that I didn’t start with one of these. Ample storage space, comfortable to carry, and feels sturdy enough to handle a rough day on the boat.

I have a lot of lures, at this point I think I’m more of a collector of fishing lures than I am a fisherman, but nevertheless I was able to fit my copious ammount of fishing lures & such with room left to spare.

This a a great toolbox. I have a larger amount of tackle than your average city fisherman and this box still has room left over. I keep it in my SUV and have a small fishing bag. I load up my small fishing bag with the the content from this guy. It is a BIG toolbox so it makes it hard to carry. But definitely does the job for storing just about everything. There’s no wasted space in this thing. I didn’t realize this till I got it, but there is bungle storage on the back that u can put all of your soft plastics such as worms and grub. I have about 20 large bags of soft plastics and they all fit with alittle bit of extra room.
