Waited for this so I could go fishing. It arrived in time for my trip. Sadly it came with a factory defect on one of the trays. This causes it to not open properly. There is also a defect that is suppose to have a tab to keep the try as supported when they are out stretched. The tab on one side is missing. Rendering this box useless to me or any other person. Come on Amazon, where is the quality control? I have much more still in the mail. Hope I have better luck.

Pretty good for the price. Trays are a little flimsy but makes a great hobby case. I’m using it for paracord tools and supplies.

I got this to hold and organize spare fasteners for carrying around doing rehabs. In that regard my only regret is that I didn’t choose a model with two sets of fold-out trays. But what I really like about this is that the lid and its handle form a solid support for the 3-tray fold-out when it’s fully extended, so there’s no sense that it could tip and scatter everything. Also there’s a good amount of room in the bottom below the trays for larger items.

compared to older Plano tackle boxes, this one feels cheaply made, inferior materials, it’s too flexible, the hinges are snapp-in construction, all the parts are snap in construction, no rivets like they used to have, these hinge pins will break.
I’m unsatisfied with the quality, so I’m returning, although I’m having trouble doing so with the app.

I bought this for storing my gun cleaning supplies after trying another Plano three tray box in the next size down which was almost but not quite large enough. I am very pleased with the larger box. For one thing, the trays can handle longer tools and there are more slots to store things.
It is also more stable than the smaller one for some unknown reason. When opened the tabs on the tray that contact the rests on the lid seem to align better.
My only suggestion to Plano would be to add another larger opening in one of the trays that could be partitioned off. There is only one large pocket in one tray on this box. But it is exactly what is pictured so I am not complaining.
Now considering one for my radio controlled airplane “stuff”.

So i decided to purchase this brand as the tackle box i owned before was Plano. After about ten years of moderate use, the older one broke at the latch. This new Plano has a metal loop to eases the stress off the plastic latch. I like how the three trays are large enough for my tackle which consists of mainly 2 – 3 oz lead sinkers, and an array of fish hooks. The bottom part of this tackle box is nice and deep and i actually have three small casters stashed away in there too. It also came with some extra plastic partitions just in case you want to customise your trays. The only thing i dislike about this product is that the three trays rests on two plastic stops on the opened top cover. I’m not sure how long this would last as it looks kinda flimsy and with some extra weights in the top tray, I recon it might break those hinges clean off in no time. Other than that lil hiccup, i’m truly happy with this product and I’m expecting another ten years form this.
