It feels great to hold. It’s great for demonstrating how a compound bow tops its cams and settles into full-draw position. It’s just not all that great for getting arrows to fly. I don’t have another 10# kid’s bow to compare to, but it shot about as well as the novelty 6″ tall bow I got that shoots pointy straws. Don’t try it with “standard” diameter (thicker) arrows.

This is a great first bow for my 4 year old. Results will vary you internet trolls. So it’s accurate enough at 15ft it’s definitely not a power shooter, but it is a VERY GOOD teaching tool and easily accessible for beginners and very young children, the whisker biscuit alone puts it ahead of all other options. It is a solid step above a toy bow but for the price well worth its value as a transition tool.

We originally bought this for my 6 year old. He jumped right into it and was able to use it immediately. He looks forward to practicing with his dad. His younger brother also wanted to try it. He did great also so we bought our then 3 year old his own. Seems durable and like it will hold up to 2 rough boys

I bought this to introduce my granddaughter to archery, as a step up from those plastic play bow-and-arrow toy sets.
This isn’t a toy. It’s a bow. It’s ambidextrous — which is a huge plus since GD is left-handed, and when she outgrows it I can give it to my grandson or another kid for more enjoyment. Or she can shoot it with a right-handed friend and they can have fun together.
It’s a perfectly safe little “plinker” bow with low draw weight. You can have them shoot it at like 10 or 20 yards, to teach them form and let them get used to drawing a bow with proper bow etiquette and form, handling arrows, and having fun in the back yard or at the archery range.
It comes with 3 safety arrows already. I bought a few more at our local Academy store, plus a little hip quiver (as others have stated it did not come with one), and she’s good to go now.
She’ll probably outgrow it in a year or two, but that’s fine, and I’ll upgrade her to a Genesis probably at that point.
I haven’t figured out how to adjust the draw weight (I don’t think it’s possible), but that’s fine too, for our purposes it’s good enough as-is.
It’s not very accurate, but that’s fine too, she’s not shooting competitions, this is literally just a beginner bow for very basic beginner things. She was putting arrows reliably on the paper target I bought, which made her happy, which made me happy, and it’s all good. Can’t beat it for the price, and it’s purple which is her favorite color.
Great way to get your kid outdoors and introduce them to archery for a small investment.

I purchased this bow and arrow package for my 7 yr. old girl. I was very pleased with the quality of the bow, arrows, and accessories that came in the package. The color is accurate, the arrows were straight and the fletching on the arrows was in good condition. My daughter was able to go right to shooting once out of the package.
The shipping was terrible, I ordered this as an Amazon Prime 3 to 5 day ship and it was over 3 weeks before arrival and the original box was destroyed and had to be reboxed. The rebox was even almost destroyed.
Overall pleased and would recommend a good way to introduce your child to safely shooting a bow and arrow. I would also order extra arrows to keep around.
