First off, I was a little worried about shooting this crossbow for the first time because this is my first crossbow ever and didn’t have a lot of confidence after reading all of the negative reviews. I shot it for the first time today and man is it smooth, fast, accurate and quite! Read the instructions carefully and watch as many videos online about Crossbows as you can. Also, I did the below things which I also think helped Improved how accurate it is. The picture is from 40 yards after sighting it in at 10 and 20 yards.
-Take your time when assembling the crossbow and when cocking and shooting it to make sure you do it the right way
-I used blue loctite on all of the bolts during assembly
-I never installed the factory scope and instead bought and installed a Hawke XB30 SR speed ring scope
-I never shot the factory bolts and Instead used Black Eagle Zombie Slayer bolts with 125 grain field tips and Lumenock GTC lighted nocks (no matter what bolts you use make sure you use atleast 400 total grains including the field tip and you use half moon nocks)
-I also bought a Bog Deathgrip tripod to hold this crossbow super steady when I am shooting it and sighting it in and it worked perfectly
I sure hope this crossbow continues to treat me well and I get to harvest many deer with it. I will update this review as I get more shots with it or if anything changes.

I just got it a few days ago. It’s perfect for me. Easy to put together. I also found out some of the problems people were complaining about isn’t on my bow. Like with the quiver. The latch to take off the quiver, doesn’t rub the limb and the arrows are easy to put in and get out. Other people complaining about how hard it was to get the arrows out of the quiver. That is fixed. I love everything about it right now but I will be back after I test it. Happy shooting yall!!!! I will be back. I’m back I shot it it’s really smooth. Easy to dial in took me 3 shots. Inch and a quarter to the right and a half inch high at 20 yards, with a range finder. The scope was almost dead on just putting it on. It’s strong well built. Oh, I did change the quiver to work upside down. It’s easy and It does work better that way. You just unscrew 2 screws and turn it in the opposite direction, screw it back on, looks the same either way you have it. I will be back with FPS of my bow. I have alot of bolts But I’m gonna hunt with 300-grain bolts and a 150-grain broad head. The bow is on the heavier side I hunt from a blind so it’s no problem. Shouldn’t be a problem anyways. Heavier means stronger. I’m totally happy with it thus far. I’m looking to hunt with it for maybe 10 years. Scope is good and works fine. It’s lighted which is needed sometimes. I will be back with more later.

The string isn’t good quality. Did all the preparation needed before sighting it in. First shot went great. Second shot the string snapped. Very disappointed. I like the bow itself, but it needs better string.

Bow is fast, accurate and consistent. Do not use the arrows they send you with the bow, buy some with inserts at the nocks. I bought some better quality Centerpoint arrows for hunting but used the included arrows for sighting in . After about 10 shots one of the arrows split at the nock and cut my string. Now I must replace the string. I read many reviews about strings breaking after a minimal amount of shots, my guess is the same happened to them they just didn’t realize it. I inspected the other two arrows that came with the bow and both of them were distressed around the nock after around 10 shots also. If Centerpoint reads this I hope they start putting better arrows in the kit.
These bows are not toys. The arrows are launched with a crazy amount of force, are really fast and the arrows are under a lot of stress when shot. My suggestion is buy good quality arrows with a metal insert at the nock and don’t use the included arrows.
Did shoot a deer before string broke. Arrow went through both sides of the rib cage, one leg and kept going. He went down fast.

Best value for a high quality crossbow. I own several. This bow delivers . Dont get caught up in a few bad reviews. I just put this thing together and sighted it in, and shot it over fifty times. Flawless! I dont see any problems that are in any bad reviews..if you want a crossbow that is a whitetail killer look no further This bow is fast and deadly accurate. Buy one u wont be disapointed.

So it was great at first, I made sure to lube all the strings and get everything ready to shoot. As I started shooting the bow it was great set up at 10 yds to be sure shot right on then moved to 20 yds and was perfect. Once I moved to 30 yds it started shooting really inconsistent and was really weird. About the 5th shot into the 30yds the string just snapped.. will be contacting customer support soon to hopefully get a replacement for free as I made sure to do everything right and it’s obviously a common issue with this crossbow. Very disappointed as I am a reoccurring centerpoint customer that this would happen.

I received the Wrath 430x on 01-17-24. Assembly was easy. This crossbow is a quality hunting tool. Shoots straight and blazing fast. The scope is better than average. It took me about 9 shots to dial in the scope and I have taken about 60 shots total. I am real pleased.

This is an update to my original review. I really love this crossbow. It’s been about a week that I have had this Wrath 430X. I have shot approximately 200 times now and have used several different combinations of different bolts and different broadheads. THIS IS A GREAT CROSSBOW. If you’re on the fence about buying this one…. Pull the trigger, you won’t regret it.
