Bought this for my husband who plays ice hockey. The bag is sturdy, spacious, and has the option to zip open to expand slightly. There are two separate compartments on each end for additional storage (he puts his skates in one and gloves in the other). There are some mesh openings that allow for ventilation. The color and texture are nice. This bag is BIG without feeling bulky or burdensome, as some bags can be!
All of his gear easily fits. Completely pleased with this purchase.

This is a great hockey bag. My daughter is currently a size Junior large in hockey gear and everything she needs fits in the bag at its smallest setting. The bag can expand in both directions bigger than it is now so it’s great to see that the bag can grow with her. It’s really tough and there are ventilation ports for a little tiny bit of air flow if she accidentally puts away wet items. I kind of wish it had wheels like many hockey bags do but the flip side of that is that the bag is really lightweight by itself so you can just sling it over your shoulder and carry it. The materials used are really high quality and the zippers and nylon are very tough and look like they will stand up to a lot of abuse, although I don’t recommend dragging it on the ground. It looks stylish too, and the NHL logo on the side makes it obvious that you have an actual hockey bag and not just some duffle. It also keeps its shape pretty well instead of flopping over like the really cheap bags do. There are a few different pockets to help keep things organized but not so many that you end up having to look through a million places to find your stuff. I also really like the see-through window pocket at the top of the bag for an ID card or other important information. I think it’s a little expensive but at the same time I have to admit it seems like it’s really high quality.

Bought it for my son. He’s the captain and needed a large bag to carry his gear, shower bag, skates and extra jerseys. Even with the extra expansion his stuff just fit. But he has a lot of stuff. He likes it but would’ve liked it a bit bigger still.

Overall this is a nice hockey bag, the seams seem pretty sturdy, and it feels like the bag is put together pretty well. The expansions on both sides are great and add quite a bit of extra room if you need the extra space. This bag would be great for kids just getting into the game; they can easily fit all their equipment inside with the expansions closed and the bag can grow with them as they get bigger.
There are air holes in the bag for drying out the equipment, but it didn’t seem like they would be big enough to give you any significant airflow. My biggest complaint is that there are two large pockets inside on the ends but no really good way to organize extra stuff if you are like me and have a bunch of extra stuff I keep in my bag like extra laces, screws, bolts, tools etc.
This is a nice starter hockey bag and seems durable. Would recommend overall; it could be improved if it had better organization in the larger end pockets.
