they work for more comfortable commuting set up, but don’t other using these on a bike where your handlebar set up is lower. The palms sag and force you to slide forward, and they bunch, causing numbness.
They’re also not that warm for anything below 42 degrees- you can feel the wind in the seams and the touch screen portion feels like ice. Oddly enough, they trap moisture when your hands do sweat, so if you take them off and put them back on, you stick your hands into cold damp gloves. Probably only get these for Fall or Spring- I would not use these Oct- March (well I do, but I’m not happy about it).

These gloves are great for cool weather rides and perfect for winter rides if you have bar mitts. I thought they might be warmer but love them anyway. They do cut the wind and the larger size I purchased is good with a 2nd pair under. Glad I bought them!

My daughter bikes around New York and on extended trips. She has Raynauds so cold hands are a problem even in 50 d free weather. Ths gloves fit great, look cool, and keep your her hands warm . They do best for 40 and up range ot temperature for her though others may find them warm in even cooler temps. They are however , not for winter riding.

These gloves really were a great deal. They add visibility to me while on the road, the grey logo oand the tip of the thumb are reflective material. They have light padding so if you have less squishy bar wraps, these can make up for that. They are great in chilly weather. I ride in weather down to 45 degrees F and feel fine. They block out the wind and hold enough warmth in. I haven’t worn them in warmer weather above maybe 75 degrees, but they don’t feel bad in that warmth. I think these might not be warm enough in below freezing conditions, but I can’t say for sure. I am extremely pleased with these gloves though. I can’t say enough good things about them.

What I like: Perfect fit, great padding, easy to get on and off. I crashed my bike and broke my left wrist a few months back and I still need to wear a brace. I was worried about how I was going to put these on and take them off of my right hand because I still have limited range of motion in my left hand. I’m able to do so with no problem. The gloves fit underneath my brace so I can ride pretty pain-free.

What I don’t like. They are not cell-phone friendly. Like, at all. I have to take these off to use my phone. They are not winter gloves. Now, my hands do get cold easily, so take that into consideration. It was 50 degrees F and my hands were cold. They warmed up with the ride but then so did the temperature.

Overall, I would recommend these gloves. They are very well made.

These gloves are high quality and perfectly designed. Putting them on the first time you will found them tight, but they loosen up and then mold perfectly to your hands. Pressure points are well padded. Low temperatures not a deterrent to riding anymore. These are toasty! No surprises here – Pearl iZUMI delivers.

These gloves are very large both in the hand and the fingers, which are 1/2″ too long. I have other Pearl iZUMI gloves in a women’s large and they fit very well. The label does not indicate that it is a “women’s” large, just large and I suspect that it is either a unisex item or the wrong one was sent. The padding on the hand is adequate.

These are nice cool weather cycling gloves. The softshell fabric is wind and rain resistant (but not waterproof) to keep your hands comfortable in cool weather. The gloves are not insulated, so I use different warmer gloves in colder weather (below 40F). The palms are only padded around the edges, which is fine if you have good core strength and hold your handlebars with a light touch. If you lean on the handlebars, this may not be enough padding for you. I like the high-visibility yellow color of these gloves and the reflective trim adds visibility at night. The softshell fabric has been very durable for me (better than other cycling gloves).

Pearl Izumi also makes a men’s Cyclone glove with the same styling as these women’s gloves. The men’s gloves are wider in both the palms and the fingers. If you’re a woman with wider fingers, try the men’s gloves (in a smaller size) to see if those fit better.
