Not cakey. Looks natural, smooth and even. It is more sheer than full coverage. I ordered the 01 light. I’m very pale with hereditary dark circles under my eyes. The dark circles aren’t as obvious with this applied. Does not hide puffiness. No unpleasant odor. Easy to use by twisting the bottom and using the brush to apply. No skin irritation, and I have very sensitive skin. I will buy again.

I saw the commercial for this product and thought great so, I bought it, I don’t like it. Its weird, very wet, colour match is great though.

Now that I’m 30 I find full coverage foundation can look strange. I have a balanced face so not dry or oily but starting to get fine lines that traditional foundation can really accentuate. This is a beautiful sheer option. It has a blurring affect but minimal coverage so if you have acne your trying to cover this won’t be the best. I use a primer then this and concealer as needed, then my powder products to add a little more coverage and a dewy setting spray. Beautiful for mature skin, my friend is in her 50s and I’ve converted her. Perfect depending on skin type. Keeps skin looking like skin if applied right.

I’ve used this product for a number of years. I use it sparingly to provide light coverage for my skin that’s been through decades of life, including sun exposure.
Even with using sunscreen, some discoloration occurs over time. This formula helps me even that out. It then becomes a base for mineral powder as a finishing touch.
The blendability is smooth and easy to manage. I really like the light texture as it glides over my skin. I hope they keep this formula going for a long time!

I had run out of the last foundation I had that worked well, but they had since changed their fprmula and I was breaking out like crazy any time I wore foundation. Cue the intense googling, article scouring, friend-interrogating process of trying to find something new that would work with my finicky, oily skin. Multiple sources RAVED about this product and I’ll admit, I was really skepticle. But, for under $10, it was worth a shot. Choosing a color online was ridiculously hard, but I gave my best guesstimate based on other Maybelline products I’ve used and chose 120 Classic Ivory.
The Pros: Good coverage, buildable if you use a sponge, and not cakey or powdery. I can’t feel it on my face once it has dried. If I’m in a temp-controlled environment and resist touching my face it wears pretty well. I can also blend other products on top of it pretty well. The best is that my skin is finally happier! I do need to be sure to wash it off, but if I forget to for one day I’m not guaranteed a breakout.
Cons: If you’re used to a thick formula, this may seem a little watery, but it does build coverage well. It doesn’t hold up very well to sweat/water, so you may want to use a setting spray if you’re going to be without AC, working out, or in high humidity/the weather calls for rain. It isn’t a “long wear” formula; for most people under “normal” conditions it’ll be fine, but if you have a habit of touching your face, if you have puppies licking you, or if you fall asleep on a pile of fresh laundry out of the dryer (totally hypothetical), you’ll need to touch up (and rewash said hypothetical laundry). For me, the color was just a smidge on the yellow side. I might try 122 next…

I bought this foundation because I was looking for a light and natural coverage for my skin.
• The foundation is very easy to apply. It has a thin and watery consistency that glides smoothly on the skin. You can use your fingers, a sponge, or a brush to apply it.
• The foundation feels very light and comfortable on the skin. It does not feel heavy or cakey at all. It gives a sheer and natural finish that looks like your skin but better.
• The foundation is not very pigmented or buildable. It does not cover any blemishes, redness, or dark circles. It only evens out the skin tone slightly. If you are looking for more coverage, this foundation is not for you.
• The foundation does not match my fair skin tone very well. I bought the lightest shade available, but it was still too dark and yellow for me. It made me look like I had a tan that did not suit me.
• The foundation takes a long time to dry and set on the skin. It stays wet and sticky for a while, which makes it easy to smudge or transfer. You need to use a powder or a setting spray to make it last longer and avoid creasing.

This makeup is the best I have ever tried. It is very light, with the perfect balance of tint, highlighter, BB, and primer. It is quick and easy with the end result comparable to a light professional air brushing. It has more moisture than my face cream. I love how the light coverage sits soothingly on my lips. I wear it without concealer as i don’t mind showing my faint sunspots as they look contoured in an even facial glow. I don’t even have to use powder. I have a separate concealer if i want a perfect look but I actually don’t mind how natural and sun-kissed i look with just the right amount of glow.
This really is a true age rewind light coverage, with a soft moist sponge, no mess and an easy 2-minute application for great results. Its the first product like this that i have used daily. Good for a month or two. Im in love. ❤️

So I use about three different concealers and I buy this one as my inexpensive one for when I just have to do a little errands I don’t wanna wear too much make up. This inexpensive one is a strong contender to my very expensive Armani and Cle de peau. It’s enough coverage but if you are over 45 five and you don’t want to look cakey and just have a light glow this is kind of magic it’s also nice that it has a sponge top and you can just throw it in your bag and do touchups as needed. The colors are pretty spot on and it leaves a nice hydrated look and doesn’t go into any wrinkles or creases on your face. It creates kind of a youthful glow you can’t be what it is for the price. I keep it on hand all the time, along with more pricier ones which I use for evening out and special events .
