The only issue I had was adding the strap. I must be doing something wrong. Otherwise it reads well. I tested it against the expensive ones used at my rehab gym.

Operation is very simple and straightforward- insert the 2 AAA batteries, push the button to calibrate, insert index finger and note the readings. It will give an oxygen reading in percent, your pulse rate, and the Perfusion Index (PI).
(Go to Wikipedia and type in “Oximeter” for a better understanding of the readings, particularly PI).

I happen to be in the hospital now in the Covid ward. Needed to order for use after discharge since I may need supplemental oxygen once discharged. Have been comparing the very expensive hospital pulse oximeter to this relatively inexpensive one. Certainly much slower than the hospital one but amazingly accurate. Nice display that stays on for quite a while so that you can see how things change as you move or rest. So far pretty impressed!!
