What a wonderful smelling deodorant! Great job to the scent producers at Dove! I bought this deodorant for one of my son’s friends, he kind of has a rough life and I’ve noticed on more than one occasion that he had some awful body odor. He is only 16 years old, and the way that young men’s bodys and hormones are changing at that age I just figured he was sweating a lot in the Arizona sun. But as the weeks persisted on and he would come over early in the morning I noticed that it didn’t have much change… I offered for him to take a shower, and he said he had just gotten out of the shower. I felt terrible for the kid, so I ordered him a care package. His birthday was a couple days away so I bought him the same thing that I honestly buy for my own kids on their birthday. Socks, underwear, white t-shirts, deodorant, soap, a couple pairs of basketball shorts, and a new loofah… I was impressed that the product was delivered the next day. I was also impressed with the quality of the deodorant I had never purchased any of doves deodorant products, but I love their soaps so I figured I would give it a try. Dove is a great brand, known for great soap, but I was Blown Away by the quality and terrific smell of this deodorant. Every time I’ve seen my son’s friends since he has smelled great! he has thanked me countless times which warms my heart but also breaks it at the same time. I wish I could do more for him, but I have 3 kids of my own… Either way as far as the product goes, you won’t be disappointed! Also, I was at Walmart yesterday and I noticed that the same size deodorant was actually more expensive at Walmart than it was on Amazon. I would definitely purchase this product again and probably will in a couple of months when my son’s birthday rolls around. I hope this helps someone decide whether or not to purchase this deodorant!

Can’t use antiperspirant because it makes my underarms itch and swell. This stuff works great for me and the smell isn’t overwhelmingly MANLY. It does wear off some on really crazy hectic busy days when I sweat alot. But I live in TX and our summers are brutal. I try to wear as much cotton as possible and stay away from synthetics when I know I’ll be sweating because that makes it worse. TIP: I also use organic apple cider vinegar in the shower. Usually pour out a a little on my washcloth along with soap and wash my underarms and other sweaty areas and let it stay on for a minute or so before rinsing it off. I have found that REALLY helps control the odor and skin sensitivity for summer.

I have been searching for an aluminium-free deoderant for my teenage son for a while now. He does a lot of sport and we live in a hot and humid climate, and none of the natural or non-alum deoderants worked, and I didn’t want a antiperspirant as I feel it’s not healthy for a growing child. I use Dove myself and so I thought I would try this one. I am over the moon with the results. The scent is subtle but manly enough for a boy to wear, it’s easy to use and doesn’t cause irritation or leave white marks. And it stands up to a very active young boy doing 2 hours of Judo followed by Basketball in hot conditions. And it’s aluminium free. We have tried so many other brands, but nothing works like this. If you are looking for a good deoderant without aluminium then this is the one for you. Five stars.
