The Astercook 15 Piece Knife Set is very nice! The wooden block holder is handsomely finished with a beautiful luster. The knives are all entirely made of Stainless Steel so there is no fear of damaging handles in dishwasher cleaning. The knives are each packaged separately on arrival. They fit into the wooden storage block with the sharpened edge turned to the inside, which I appreciate for safety’s sake. The six steak knives fill the slots on the right side of the block while the kitchen cutlery tools align along the left. The scissors stay available for easy reach right at the front. I really appreciate the built-in knife sharpener that is on the top right side of the knife holder. It is readily available for drawing blades through the slot for easy sharpening when needed. The knives come already fully sharpened for you when first put to use.
I give the Astercook 15 Piece Knife Set a five-star rating. I recommend them to everyone who enjoys having their kitchen tools readily available for use with organized, beautiful storage. This will make a wonderful gift for weddings, housewarming gifts, or for other occasions celebrating someone who enjoys cooking with style.

A complete set of sharp, elegant knives along with a lovely way to store them. The knives feel nice in your hand, have nice weighting and there are a good variety for many applications and needs. The built-in sharpener is a nice quick solution when you don’t have time to really sit down and sharpen, so I really like that feature. I am more impressed with this set than I expected. The German steel is a sleek, elegant stainless with a little integrated design in every blade. I especially like the slim profile of this block and the beautiful wood used to make it. A quality 15 piece set that anyone would enjoy to handle and use in the kitchen. Love this set, could not be happier with it.

This knife set is very well made. You can tell by the balance when you cut with them.
I do a lot of fruit and veggie prep in the mornings and this set makes cutting even the hardest veggies really fast because they are sharp.
The block has a deep, rich wood color to it and the built-in knife sharpener is a pleasant plus!
This set would make a fantastic wedding gift, a gift for that guy friend or family member or loves to cook (because of the deep wood color of the block) or even for yourself – which who I got these for!
I’ve had a knife set that I’ve used for years and, although it still does an adequate job, the block and the knives look as well used and worn as they would be after all these years. It was time for a new set and this one not only fit the bill but also looks really elegant on the countertop.
Although the description says they are dishwasher safe, having worked for years in the food service industry and around chefs who are always very particular when it comes to their knives, as with any quality knife set, I would wash them immediately after using, dry them and put them back into the block.
Of course, that’s just my opinion/suggestion.

This is a nice looking knife set. I especially like the block that they sit in. It is a lovely dark wood and comes with a built in sharpener. I also like the damascus-like design on the blades.
They are SHARP! Definitely handle them with caution when you are taking them out of the box.
They are surprisingly light, and dishwasher safe.
I think they would make an excellent wedding or housewarming gift. If you just want an upgrade to your own knife set, I think you would be pleased with these, as well.

This is a nice knife set. There are 15 pieces with a knife and a block with a sharpener. The design is awesome. The knives are very sharp. They’re dishwasher safe. They give an elegant look to my kitchen. My issue is this same set is listed in the sellers store for $49.99. At $99.99, they are overpriced.

Really pretty knife set with everything you need. Knife block has a sharpener in it. Looks nice and feels solid. The shears are gigantic that’s my only negative I wish they were smaller and not right at the front of the block but thats not that big a deal. Great value for money. Knives are sharp and attractive. Knife block is made of nice wood and had sharpener built in. Great gift for anyone.

Nice looking set – both the knifes and the block. I was worried they might be a bit slippery in the hand, but the handles have a nice grip to them. The knifes and the scissors are both quite sharp and have decent ergonomics. The assortment of blades provided should cover all basic needs. I think these should do well over the long term provided they are sharpened correctly. The sharpener in the block is good for a quick touch up but I think a stone is really needed to maintain a good edge.
