The flavor must be outstanding because all three of my dogs will growl at each other if they think someone is trying to steal their share. I had my doubts about the effectiveness until I ran out and spent a week wishing I had no dogs. The excessive barking (the reason I bought them to begin with) ramped back up to intolerable levels. I have a rescue German Shepherd Golden Retriever mix that barks at every little noise. Every sneeze, every cough, every rumble of a truck, doorbells on t.v…. and her jealous boyfriend, a mini-Dachshund, who rarely shuts his trap as it is, is triggered by this, thinking there’s a threat. Calming chews to the rescue. Before I ran out, they were calmer after having their “treats”. I like that these are softer than the calming dental chews so the little guy can eat them too. My only complaint is they are a little too crumbly and there are quite a few smaller pieces and a fistful of crumbs in the bottom of the bag, so there seems to be a fair amount of waste. Still worth it. I give the smaller half and third sized pieces to the little dog.

The rescue shelter gave me a bag for my adopted pup. I have kept her on, just one square in morning. If she gets angst from thunder, will add a 2nd square for bad storms. Seems to help. Small dog.

My two dogs each have their own anxiety issues, one is separation anxiety and the other has generalized anxiety with fear aggression. They do great on the thunderwonder calming chews but I like to try different products to see if there’s something better. These are not better. They did not calm my dogs at all, but rather seemed to make them even more anxious. Additionally, I noticed that one of the ingredients is skim milk which is terrifying because the majority of dogs are lactose intolerant and many have an outright dairy allergy, to put a common allergen in a calming treat is a really dumb decision. It’s not even an active ingredient so why is it in there? Will not buy these again.

Made it through the hurricane.com. No side effects. The dogs did great. No diarrhea no nothing, they just rested and slept. Too bad they don’t make these for people!
