If I hadn’t gotten rid of the previous litter box, I would have sent this back. It is missing the door flap and the top doesn’t sit on properly. The very flimsy filtre also doesn’t fit right.

The size was ideal, and I liked that it was Microban. However, the top portion is poorly manufactured, it looks like the hole for the door was cut out using a box cutter. The door would not clear, thus my cat won’t be able to use it. Absolutely shocking to charge $50 for something of such poor quality, in my opinion.

It’s quite large but very cheaply made. The flap doesn’t move both ways. It goes in so the cats can get in but doesn’t come out for the cats to get out. The lid doesn’t lock in either. It falls off while my cat is trying to get out. It works for very small cats and kittens but not for larger cats.

It is super big and bulky. My cat flings the top of as there is no side latches. The doorway also came to big for the opening and was trapping my cat inside the box. I had to cut the flap opening just so he could get in & out. Ended up just going to Petco and getting him a new one. Definitely not worth the money or trouble.

Is the lock feature the fact that plastic on plastic causes one to flex?
My only complaint is that the door is made of plastic and I had to remove it when my cat got trapped inside. I could have just filed down the plastic so it was not in contact with the lid. But that wouldn’t matter now, the cat is terrified of the door.

The box is deep. So flying litter is kept in by that and of course the hood. The hood does not snap tight so the cat flipped it off once. The door flap stuck in places so I had to trim it. Having said all that for its price it’s fine.

So the sides are high for sure, but the bottom where the litter goes isn’t large at all. It’s narrow. It makes a difference because I have two cats and it gets a lot of use. And the door broke off one of the pegs that hold it on. This happened on the first day right out of the box

The size is perfect, this is a very large litter box. But the quality is horrible the lid doesn’t fit correctly and the door fit is so horrible it will not swing either way.
