This thing is super cool and has made our pond water crystal clear! We love that all we have to have is a pump because this is a filter. We did have to buy the rocks for the inside.

Excellent, sturdy, well formed – everything you need for a waterfall plus the added benefit of filtering. Easy to integrate into pond environment with easy to understand instructions. However for the price, I would expect some teflon plumber’s tape and the clamps to be included with the kit. My pond needed to be redone after 25 years, and I always wanted a waterfall – and now I have one!! Main work is done, now for plants and details and more camouflage for the waterfall (I could set mine further back into my hill without damaging too many roots of well loved shrubs and plants, so it is set a little more forward than is optimal, but still creates a beautiful effect). Love it!

I’ve been able to create a little relaxation paradise in my backyard. The natural volcano rocks creates a natural filtering system. I’ve added a few other filtering system with the pump to avoid leaves, but the final look is wonderful.

I have a really small pond, 50 gallons. I’ve been running 2, 500 gph pumps. One in the water and one to a smaller water fall. Still had dirty looking water. Added this waterfall with a 1 inch tube and a 1400 gph pump. 3 hours and the water is almost clear. I’m loving this waterfall. It looks like it will be easy to clean. Plus my two 4 inch comets are enjoying it. Now thinking about having a bigger pond installed.

Easy to set up, durable and makes a very nice waterfall. Highly recommend for backyard streams!

Had it for about a month. No complaints or issues, seems to be doing what it’s supposed to do. Water is clear and fish & plants look happy with the water conditions.
Super simple to set up. I combined mine with another out-of-pond electric filter, so the waterfall is getting pre-filtered water, which seems to be a great setup so far.

Does what it says. .Makes a nice waterfall feature in our pond. Very happy with the product.

The waterfall itself is decent. It’s nice and big, I get a lot of flow with my 3500 gph pump. I haven’t had it long enough to test the difference in filtration but it seems good once you buy the bio balls.
However the connection is terrible which is why I’m giving it 3 stars. First, I have no idea why it connects on the back, it should be on the side. Poor design. Then, it doesn’t fit normal pipes well either. I have an indoor pond so I was very worried about use regular pond tubing after reading so much about it leaking or bursting. However, since the tetra tubing fit I tried it. Sure enough, within 5 minutes it was shot and burst water all over my floor and ceiling. So I decided to do what I originally wanted and use pvc. Because of the abnormal size I am still having trouble getting the leak to stop. It doesn’t leak that much so if the pond was outside I probably wouldn’t care. Less than a gallon lost a day. Indoors I have to have it all bone dry. I have tried teflon tape, electrical tape, gluing it very well, and putting foam over it and it still ends up leaking. I am going to try a few more things to seal it but if that doesn’t work I will need to redo the pipe connection AGAIN. Very annoying.
To sum it up, it is a good waterfall, but it hooks up very poorly and you could probably get a lot more for your money making something yourself.

This waterfall for a pond works very well, as long as you have a sufficiently large pump capacity. It is larger than it looks, and produces a nice even fall of water. Room inside for bio-balls and other filter material. Sturdy. A good value.

This was definitely larger than I thought it was going to be but it works fine for the pond. I’ll try to add pics later if I remember. Fittings are for 1 and 1 1/4 tubing – I didn’t notice and had to get new. No big deal. I’m using with a 1300gph pump (but I suspect it’s not as high as it’s rated – more like around 1000gph). I don’t think I would go too much lower than 1000 if you want a nice flow. The pumps are cheap on Amazon. And it does flow very nicely and is going to look great when the project is done. Does NOT come with bio media and really didn’t emphasis that fact on the listing. READ: you have to go buy some lava (or better) rocks to use this. The filter WILL float up without. I don’t get why they just didn’t include it – therefore 4 stars.
