This cage is massive for a cockatiel, but we love him! The box did arrive wet and severely damaged to the point where I thought that the cage might be damaged. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was not. Assembly was relatively simple, and with the help of my 12-year-old son, we had it together within a half an hour. The cage is beautiful, with a perfect Powder-coat finish. It is quite light, but also sturdy, which makes it easy to move. The cage and stand are separate, which makes this more versatile. Our bird settled into it within a day or two, and seems to be enjoying it immensely. It’s easily twice the size of his old cage, and I’m so happy to be able to provide him with such a tremendously large space that still offers appropriate bar spacing for a cockatiel. This was such a great value, considering the size of the cage, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to purchase it.

After searching through and reading specs and reviews on multiple cages. I decided on this model because of the height and space this cage offered. Also I needed 2 cages one for each of my green check conures and this cage is reasonably priced. I have to say I was skeptical because of some of the reviews of it not been sturdy or the bars being bent on delivery.
The cages were delivered much earlier than expected which was a big bonus!! Everything was as described (No bent bars). They are fairly easy to put together especially if you’ve ever put a cage together before. They are perfect for my conures! I have African Grey Parrots as well who have huge heavy duty cages. These cages are made for and are perfect for smaller birds. The only modifications I made is I zip tied the cages to the stands to make a solid unit, Zip tied all the little doors closed, and I opted not to use the plastic bowls because I prefer stainless steel for my birds. Each little Conure has a mansion with great amount of space! They are happy little campers! Very happy with this purchase!

The material is much better than other cages Ive worked with in the past. Very large and affordable cage. Plenty of room for my budgies to play. Easy to put together and pretty sturdy. The latch on the front door is easy to use and does not open on its own (does require a smidge of force). Holes for feeding stations are standard in size.

I had a 30″ tall cage on wheels that sat on the floor. While it was a great starter cage for 2 budgies, we ended up with 4. So I was on the search for a larger cage with a large front door and standard slots for standard feeders. All the other large cages had two small doors in the middle and that would be a problem trying to move things around in the cage and trying to reach to the back to add accessories. This one is perfect! It sits tall enough for my window. The other cage I had it on a costco folding table and it took up a lot of space.
Suprisingly, it shipped out of Houston TX which I received it the next day. So total of 3 days. 1 for processing and 2 for shipment to actually move through UPS and Deliver. Fast timing because I was getting tired of cleaning on top of the costco table and the floor. My 3 year old daughter and I built the cage in less than 30 minutes. It was really easy! Had everything moved over in about an hour with slightly tamed budgies. Now I have a extra cage for traveling and to bring home a Tiel.
Tips to putting this cage together. Build the back half or front half. It doesnt matter. Then the top. Finally the back or front however you built yours. The holes are perfectly aligned but the cage itself will slightly be bent from packaging and shipping. So loosely add the machine screws to their locations. This is important so you dont go cross threading the screws. Once you get everything aligned, you then tighten the screws.
When you add the wheels, tap the wheels down with a rubber hammer but do not tap them all the way down. Leave a little bit of room for height adjustment when everything is put together. Once everything is completed, rock the cage. If it does not sit flat, tap the wheel that sits high with the hammer a little at a time until all 4 wheels are aligned and flat. The wheels arent very good. My floor is vinyl planks and these wheels do not want to swivel 360 on their own. I’m gonna try using some dry lubricant to free up the wheels.
-update- Few hours later, I removed the cage from the stand. Lubed the bearings and wheels. It helped a lot. One wheel was binding up when rotating. I stopped where it would not rotate and used a flat head screw driver to slightly pry between the two bearing plates until it’s freed up. Don’t pry too mucb or the bearings will fall out. I flipped the stand and put the cage back onto it for a test roll. I accidently pushed too hard, it rolled across the living room and hit the couch. Scared the budgies a wee bit. Now I can effortlessly roll the cage around the house without a problem!

I don’t have a bird yet but this cage looks great. The dowels are not straight but I won’t be using them anyway. The assembly is super easy. It took 30 minutes with my 9 year old “helping” (slowing me down). A few of the prongs on the stand were bent but they were easily bent back. I didn’t attach the wheels because I don’t want kids rolling the cage around. I may put them on in the future. I really liked that there was only 1 type of screws. I’m happy with it but at the same time I don’t have anything to compare it to as I never had birds before.

We wanted a good size cage for our first parakeets that would be easy to clean, have lots of flight space and toy space and room for growth. It took two people to put together as it is very heavy to pick up and put on the base. I gave it only 4 stars for that reason and for the sturdiness too as you have to be very careful when you move the cage. It just sits on top of the base, relying on its weight and the inset of the groove to remain stable. I wish it was clamped, myself. We had plenty of room to add to our first set of two birds, by adding two more. The gates are easy to open and shut. We just experienced a problem with one side gate that we needed to use pliers on to squeeze shut when building it. The birds are happy!
